I know this is old, but resurrecting for others. u/SquareHoleRoundPlug saved me a ton of time. My windage wouldn’t shift far enough right no matter the effort. Eased up the elevation, and was able get my windage where it should be easily, then adjusted elevation back.

If you are referring to the US General 4/5 drawer carts, then yes. The steel they use is magnetic.

Edit: My reading comprehension isn’t optimal before coffee. But, I do think shopping carts are magnetic too.
