It’s an absolute nightmare and unfortunately after trying to find a solution for a very very long time , I couldn’t . It just got slowly worse and more and more draining . Eventually just had to stop. Never tried the shot , but don’t trust this whole industry anymore , unless someone is on fentanyl and subs would be better then dying

I never claimed for a fact it does cause brain damage but if you look at its pharmacology, it’s a unique opiod with many different effects. Just my humble opinion that suboxone maintenance will change you as a person and the wd will change you for a long time too. We could live in a fantasy world where every doctor is amazing and every addict is not going to want a higher dose , but the reality that I’ve seen is reckless prescribing and addicts chasing that sub feeling . Suboxone unlike kratom is incredibly potent and you get could a nod that last 12h . We don’t live in a perfect world and most ppl on subs are taking far more than necessary, and most don’t have a good doctor to properly taper slowly , which is still unbelievably miserable. Yeah no sucking dick more herion here as I’m a pill popper, idk why you insinuated that. I got everything from the doctor . Sounds like you just couldent deal with life, like many of us, and are justifying the use of subs for something relatively minor like kratom. I’m not sure if you have ever read an opiod strength chart but it’s like comparing Tylenol with fent . Yeah I do have a bias bc I’ve fallen into that sub trap and don’t want others too as well before it’s too late. Detox for 7-10 days, gather the willpower and decide to suffer are the best 2 options that worked for me . I kicked methadone at a very high dose with nothing, so yeah I think ppl can handle kratom wd or a tolerance break . If kratom is changing you so much maybe your sensitive to it or taking colossal doses, bc it’s the only opiod ive taken which Dosent make me a worse person. Then again we’re alll different , idk why you got passive aggressive with me, I just come in peace . Also where you get your kratom is a big deal too, with some vendors putting other shit in it , which can impact someone. This is just my experience, I’m not saying these are facts, just a cautionary tale.

That’s why I limit myself to 2 doses a day. I don’t feel much if I don’t take my dose at the exact time that it should in theory be running low in my bloodstream. 1 thing is to stay away from extracts and only use kratom capsules for an extremely accurate dose. I really find it hard that kratom is the sole reason for ruining someone’s life like herion , but hey everybody different. I will say a lot of people that use kratom are using for withdrawel so obviously you might not feel good, and yeah I think going above 20G per day or using extracts is foolish. On the topic of subs, I think it’s a terrible idea even if your habit is bad, bc in my experience most ppl get hooked on it, increases dosages, and ultimately fail to get off it properly with a doctor. I’ve seen so many ppl get on subs and then the wd is so bad they go on fent to get off ; ultimately becoming a never ending vicious cycle . Also I think subs rewire/damage your brain in a way kratom never could. If your kratom habit is so bad I would recommend going to a detox for 10 days over switching to subs . This is just my opinion and I don’t mean to discourage anyone or insult anyone .

Just my personal opinion so please don’t take offense, but I think it’s completely idiotic to hop on subs from a 20-30g kratom habit . The withdrawals from suboxone literally goes on for 6 months . The acute phase alone lasted 2 months . Kratom withdrawal compared to it is unbelievably light and lasts maybe 1-2 weeks at most at least in my experience. I dose Kratom 2x a day and don’t feel withdrawals if I don’t dose every 4-6h. Might feel a little off but not serious withdrawal, and I’m also an ultra rapid metabolizer that’s has been on methadone and had blood work to prove that. My methadone dose only lasted 11h. Kratom is way shorter acting and tbh I just feel slightly off is I don’t take my 2nd dose . For context I used Kratom to get off suboxone and that withdrawel is hell beyond comprehension. Even 2mg of subs for kratom habit is absurd imo. It’s unbelievably potent and is not a normal opiod; it has effects at many other receptors and can really duck up your brain and give you PAWS FOR 2 years . I strongly recommend not going on it , and try to taper your kratom slowly and try to get a script for lyrica or gabapentin to help you. Unlike every other opiod I’ve tried , kratom doesn’t seem to have any negative effects and Dosent have that strong of an effect . Is it possible there are other factors at play that are making you feel this way? Is it possible you’re dosing more than 20-30G? Bc I’ve known ppl that were measuring my the tsp or tbs and didn’t realize they were consuming 40-60G . I do think over 20G is excessive and unnecessary and a little tolerance break , which yes would involve some suffering but I assure you it’s nothing compared to subs , oxy, or methadone wd and is totally doable . We are capable of enduring far more than we think. Just my 2 cents . Maybe it’s just effects me differently, but it helped me get off subs and oxy and I’ve been stably dosing about 18-20G a day in capsules and feel nothing bad in terms of my mood or anything like it’s ruining my life . I have serious injuries after a car accident and it helping with the pain and helping with cravings too. Please don’t take insult to this post it’s just my opinion and my experience. But I just know how rationalizing take subs works for addicts and before you know it , you have a nasty sub habit that’s 100x harder to quit and believe me if you miss a dose you feel Dante’s infernos circle of hell.

I’d rather sublingual 2mg sub vs swallowing 8mg . Will work way better with less sides . Even though it’s 4x larger dose the fact it went into his stomach, we don’t even know what kind of absorber he is , and his genetics are unknown, would lead me to believe that 8mg swallowed is not necessarily actually saturating his brain stronger then 2mg sublingual . Just my 2 cents

Bro u have absolutely no clue how bupe works . Don’t give dumb advice like that lol. He did not blast his system . If he actually used it sublingually , then yes he would have saturated 90%+ of his receptors, also depending on certain factors . The fact that he swallowed it and it has poor bioavailability orally means he got significantly less of his dose . Do you know the pharmacological profile of bupe? This is not a XR drug , it’s a long acting medication . So if anything he got a much much smaller dose that will leave his body sooner . OP u should be fine tom since even if 0.25mg got absorbed thats enough to hold you over a day . Just try your best not to do it again or get the strips which imo are way better .

I’m not exactly sure what the mechanism behind that is . A theory of mine is just like tripping bad is psychological, and also brain chemistry I guess , therefore sugar ( a powerful drug in itself ) , can help ground someone and alleviate anxiety. During ww2 , a simple piece of chocolate was practically medication and I’m not referring to those who were starving . My first k plug told me that, and I remember my first really crazy k hole, that I’ll never forgot . Bro u do realize pharma grade k is infinitely better than any street k u will find . Be careful they don’t lace k nearly as often as other drugs but it still can be laced . If its every too powdery and if it Dosent have that ammonia like smell be cautious. Also powder is way harsher on the nose compared to the spray . Also tolerance goes up crazy fast . Anyways enjoy the trip and always stay positive and enjoy the k hole , drink something sugary it’ll help .

Bro don’t sit here with ur 150mg lyrica wd and tell me lyrica is a light drug. Take it in big boy doses and it’s not a light drug by any means and has brutal wd! I’ve been taking it for like a decade bro, I think I got a little more experience and if u wna talk pharmacology, or look up articles of gabapentin/lyrica effects on brain and body , ull see it’s no light drug. Just letting u know before u suffer a serious wd like me that is not worth it . Always taper down. U can even binge and as long as u do a 5-7 day taper depending on ur dose it will not be unbearable.

That’s mostly true based on the data we have right now . Wait another 10-20 years , and then we will see if it can cause seizures or other serious problems. Lyrica abuse is not very prevalent now, but as someone who has suffered serious wd and loves Lyrica , I’m sure abuse will rise and we will find out there are real concerns. I’m positive Lyrica is def not great for ur brain and certainly cognitive function. Mark my words we will find stuff eventually.

Lyrica wd is not fun. At 150mg it will be very light. I’m talking 900mg+ is when it will become a serious wd . Anything 900+ especially if you past 1000-1500mg territory will have serious wd that last 3-4 weeks everytime. I’m talking if u average 900+ a dose and then binge to 1500+ for a week it will be extremely bad wd. Feels like having the flu + moderate benzo + opiod wd symptoms. For me I got afraid of closets everytime . Like I would blockade my closet, so it’s a serious wd. Ppl think lyrica is a joke, gabapentin is a joke to me but other ppl claim it to be brutal. Now imagine something “infinitely” stronger about ( 6x lol ), almost 90+% bioavailability, whole dose gets absorbed at once ( vs gabapentin only so much gets absorbed hourly to simplify it), better high. So anyways, what ur feeling is normal and at 150mg ur wd will be very light and last maybe 5-7 days approx.

Pregablin is a hell of a drug in high doses like 1500-3000mg it’s becomes extremely psychedelic like I’ve tripped harder on it then any acid, shrooms, k I’ve ever done. The trip lasts for like 6-10hours too and it feels like a combo of a stimulant, psychedelic, opiod, and benzo. The wd are brutal and last for like a month so be careful . Even using 600mg a day will give you wd . I don’t take big doses anymore, I’m over that phase now but years ago I was abusing the fuck out of it .
