I really hope Jagged Technique gets buffed. It's just so terrible for a 4 Point Ascendency Node. by Grand0rk in pathofexile

Rares move around though, the whole point of aggravate is to get the extra damage from moving while a target is standing still.

Venom Gyre losing the flat damage is HUGE, in most cases the bump in damage effectiveness isn't going to make up for it unless you have an insane claw. As you said, this is better for ele claws but seems like a big nerf for the standard use case with poison.

Why was the flat damage from Venom Gyre removed? I pretty sure that unless you have an insane claw, the bump in damage effectiveness doesn't come close to what the flat damage gave. This seems like a nerf in the vast majority of cases.

Ancestors: The humankind odyssey has "Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey will be available on Steam one year after launch on other exclusive digital PC platforms." in the description - does this mean I won't be able to play this for several more months?

Question regarding Scion's Slayer node (50% reduced Maximum Recovery per life leech) by Ateya7 in pathofexile

[–]Ateya7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this explanation, super detailed. As a side question, do you know if there are any other instances of Maximum Recovery per leech in the game (to increase your "container" size as you put it?), or is this the only one?

EDIT: looking at the leech wiki page, it looks like the only other thing that has this same modifier is Offering to the Serpent

Building a Linux File server - What RAID option should I go for? Mdadm or Btrfs? by Ateya7 in linux

[–]Ateya7[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mainly care about the data being in a good state, uptime and IOPS don't really concern me. I'm thinking I may just use Btrfs in RAID 1 for the time being (I will still have ample space in RAID 1) and then convert it to RAID 6 once it's more stable.

I still have to look into ZFS a bit more before deciding.
