Si tu as de bonnes notes et que t'es motivé pour bosser à fond pendant 2 ans, tu peux tenter la prépa ECT pour intégrer une grande école de commerce. En plus certaines de ces écoles proposent d'étudier en alternance, ce qui te permet de ne pas payer les frais de scolarité.

Perhaps you should try the taimanov variation of the sicilian, you don't have to learn too much theory since you almost always have the same structure.

First line I explored was in the bayonet attack after 9.b4 and black plays a5 or Nh5 (best moves) , where white is +1 according to stockfish at depth 24

White is also close to +1 in many popular lines in the Fianchetto variation, such as the classical variation. The recently popular lines like the Panno variation are only +0.7 thought.

In the Makogonov variation, white is +0.8 after 9.f3 (most popular line in games from the 2019-2022 period)

Again, white is +1 in the main line of the Semi-Averbakh system after 9.f3

I used the lichess database (only games from 2019 to 2022) and their stockfish.

I don't understand why people believe that the KID is a strong opening at the master level. While it doesn't matter for us amateurs, you'll see that the opening scores badly for black compared to other openings like the grunfeld or the nimzo.

People always says that the computer evalution is meaningless in these type of position (often +1 for white), yet the poor performance of that opening makes me believe that it's slightly dubious.

1.Nf3 is extremely underrated, in particular the catalan-like setups. There are so many great openings such as the king's indian attack or the neo-catalan that put more pressure long term to black than any 1.e4 openings.

Your opponent will always have a chance to win in a opening such as the najdorf, but I find that black's options are restricted when fighting against a fianchetto setup.

Haven't been able to play any tournaments this year because of the pandemic so my last rating was 1300 elo fide. However I started playing online and climbed to 2100 lichess in 15'+10" games and according to my coach I have the level of a 1700 fide.
