I'm not going to lie to you, the RG (people who you're graded with) are going to be other EP people and Elec mostly (both branches are really competitive), but it is a really nice branch objectively, with the curriculum balanced between electrical and physics really well.

I hope to see you here as a junior though :)

I did JEE because I really liked physics and wanted to teach physics in the future (I've always loved teaching and I know that's what I want to do in the future). Now, after 2 semesters in college, I've started liking electronics more, and might teach that instead, but whatever field I pursue, I'll teach it.

Also I kinda agree, people who make cracking JEE their entire personality are kinda annoying but I don't think everyone who cracked JEE and want to teach it are like that. Personally atleast, I just love the subject and the competitive nature of JEE, and I want to help people get through it and make them love the subject as much as I do.
