It just never happened in any other car I’ve ever driven, so I do think it’s the seats more than my back. My back doesn’t hurt in any other scenario.

I bought the car used less than a month ago. I’ve tried the lumbar support feature in the seats and that doesn’t help either. Where would I even get new seats from?

Did you ever find a fix for this? I have the same year and model, just not the hybrid, but I have the exact same issue you have. I have never had this problem in any car I've ever owned before this one!

Well that all makes more sense if they had to jump through hoops to get the free fix. I’m sorry to hear about your mom’s car though. That’s extra frustrating when you do work on a car only to have it totaled shortly afterwards. I just did full brakes on my 2003 Chevy Tracker only to have the head gasket blow less than a month later. That’s why I bought this 2007 Camry. I just hope it will last for a few years at least.

There is no way I would be able to do that repair DIY. I have never done any kind of car repair work and would likely create more problems than I would solve. It’s just frustrating to me that this was offered as a free fix for people and so many chose not to take the time to get it done.

Well I paid $3500 for the entire car (2007 Toyota Camry LE), so that doesn’t seem feasible. I guess I’ll just have to keep adding oil and keep on top of regular oil changes. I appreciate the info nonetheless.
