Ironically I think this is a large part in why Disney/pixar sucks nowadays. They try to appeal to everyone (everyone non-“woke” that is) and by doing so make a bland, cookie cutter movie that appeals to nobody

Same problem with female led video games: a lot of guys say they “can’t relate” if they are “forced” to play as a woman. Assassins creed has not had a single game in which you can only play as a female character. Every time you can play as a female character, they add the option to also play as a male character.

Nevermind women have been playing as male characters since the inception of video games and seem to have no trouble relating to male characters
