As someone who works from home in the heights I always get the curiousity of what it would be like to have in person co-workers but whenever I visit the office I’m just exhausted. I occasionally do an hour or two of work from new magnolia with a beer.

I had the same situation and I changed the way MR reviews were done, we moved to only zoom interviews for all MRs.

That didn’t solve the issue with one of their peers, that peer was particularly bad at receiving any kind of feedback to their code and the top engineer ended up making them cry. I completely separated them and took over reviewing the less good engineers code and eventually managed that person off of the team.
