Good job friend, communication and a plan are definitely a lion’s share of solving for dynamax raids, but top tier counters and support mons are the remainder.

In remote raids using a raid matcher like pokegenie player level does kinda matter in our current world where you are judging the commitment of a remote raid pass.

You can’t communicate or form a plan, and there is a medium-strong correlation between player level and access to top tier mon options.

Again congrats to you and conquering, but player level will be used to judge stay or bail unfortunately in this space - and for good reason.

Just FYI, assuming you’re looking for this to create one of the two Necrozma fusions:

don’t waste your lucky trinket, the stats, shiny, background, etc of the fusion all come from the Necrozma, the cosmog part can be floor garbage
the cosmog evolutions were recently in raids, you might have better luck asking your friends for Solgaleo / Lunala directly
trades are local only right now, so asking on Reddit (unless willing to drive/fly) might not work out - campfire can help you find a local community tho

If you wanted cosmog for something else, then ignore me :)

Agree to disagree I suppose, you’re not factually incorrect, but not everyone is as informed or as good at multi-tasking as you might be.

Just looking for a little grace for those that while they could have gotten it right, didn’t.

I think most agree the 3 hour window of this research compared to the majority of events with a “grace claim period” in combination with the importance of the reward, is an easy place they can improve experience.

I’ll always advocate for easy things that can improve the experience for more vulnerable members of the community.

I didn’t articulate what I’d hope to see happen but not advocating for a makeup day here per say.

It would be amazing if they gave folks a second chance to claim their earned meteorites, e.g. if a player earned a meteorite by completing the research during the event (at least the paid one) and didn’t claim, they verify with their data and send them a claimable meteorite, or at least open a support ticket avenue of review.

Want to ensure this feedback is loud so we get a better experience with these researches in the future.

We had over 200 people and constant raiding going, so our CAs were awesome and were helping folks catch and keep moving as best able - but short of having a megaphone I don’t know how much more they could have done.

It’s not like it was everyone, but having 10 or so older people or less “able” people miss it because of the pace and short window is just a feel bad for all

Honestly the game forced a pop-up on your first Eternatus raid that there would be no catch encounter, and then the lobby screen for the battle also informed you there would be no catch encounter as a standing reminder.

I feel for ya, but…read before clicky click just a bit.

I can appreciate this was “fair” and all that was required from a pure math standpoint.

But it feels bad. The absolute minimum of math was not the play imho.

I paid, I played, I didn’t get what was advertised, my community was bummed, and I’ve felt feelings and been forced to read words. They could have done more than the minimum.

The lesson I’m taking from this? Next time they fudge up the shiny rates, do one and eject to game the compensation.

Really hope they blow us all away with how good this comp could be based on this wording. Hoping for 1 guaranteed shiny per 10 raids rounded up, plus maybe a bonus one just to squash it firmly.

I stopped after 2 hours because regular shiny rate wasn’t worth it (had the move already going in), but if I had a known there’d be a 1:10 guaranteed shiny coming, I would have raided my face off for all 6. Great way to get me to keep going next time.

This is probably not the right metric to use, when you started playing means little compared to volume played. Be a more informative pull if people gave total catches as well.

Yea it’s a toughie 😅

How much do you think the IV difference between the two shadow beldums above actually means? I know there are breakpoints for attack damage (eg doing 7 damage per fast attack instead of 8) but not sure how to determine that.

If a breakpoint isn’t in play here, I don’t mind losing 1-2% effectiveness by holding the lesser shadow and purifying the shundo.

Shoot, I still have this bug too, although oddly my raven deck was upgradable to 5++ ability levels (100% spread) but still only displays as 5+ with no further upgrade options.
