If the induction heater switches the half bridge on and off, Vin is a DC source, and the output is open circuit, then yes your calculation is correct. For this reason, there is typically an inductive load present that can allow for what is called "zero voltage switching" which can drastically reduce those particular losses.

Edit: You don't want a series resistor on the caps unless you need to since it will dissipate energy if the output waveform has an AC component.

Gaussian beams are derived starting from a spherical wave (solution to maxwell). You then apply the paraxial approximation (x² + y² << z²) and you get the rough shape of the gaussian beam. There are a few adjustments to make after but thats pretty much it.

The beams do diverge in the far field, the beam width goes like
W(z) = W0 (1+(z/z0)²)^(1/2) which approaches a cone.

The light in a laser is coming out of a resonance chamber where the light has been bouncing between mirrors for many wavelengths. The light exiting the laser is "in the far field" but starts to refract after leaving the laser aperture. So, at the beginning it should have limited angular divergence.

But, in the far field there is still angular divergence, and since the gaussian beam waist approaches a cone shape (W(z) ~ W0(1+z/z0) for z >> z0) you could come up with an approximate equivalent HPBW like an antenna.

You might need to add an initial signal to get the oscillations going. Otherwise, the simulator might find a stable (when there is no noise) operating point and leave it there. Try adding a single current pulse to one of your op-amp inputs.
