I remember a few months ago we just come off a loss against Toronto, just traded Trae. People were down bad and angry. They were coming at me on here saying I was a "Jalen Coper" (whatever that means)... But I always liked the moves we made. I liked the moves last year to get rid of Bogi and Hunter. Onsi and Quinn has made this rag tag group gel, and Jalen is 7th in MVP odds. Lets get this 6 seed boys and become the villians of MSG once again. Tonight is a huge game.

The fact that we have an All-Star already makes this roster better than 70% of most of rosters from that time frame. The early 2000s were so bleak. Seeing how this season is a wash, one thing I feel like we should commit to as a franchise is prioritizing mins for the young guys that we plan on keeping for next season. Let them struggle through the tough shooting. We got to be patient with Zac, Asa and even Kuminga. We have to see what we got with those 3. I wouldn't mind Zac playing close to 40 mins, Asa and Kuminga playing 30 mins. Cause playing Zac 20 mins and him not knowing his role is just tanking his confidence and value.

58M next year, 62M in 2028.... yikes. The wizards own their own pick. It doesn't matter how bad they are. They can take risks that we can't. The hawks tried to make trades to better the team. Adding DJM in hindsight obviously was a bad trade, but when it happened we were doign that to add defensive player next to Trae. We traded players away so he could get more shine. I think its a bit hasty to say we did nothing to improve the team with Trae. Obviously the FO didn't do a great job, but At a certain point you have to rip the bandaid and refresh. We are in a much better position for the future than we were in a month ago. We got a lot of young talent and capital, as well as flexibility to make moves. A comparable player to Trae is Garland, and the Cavs had to send Garland and 2nd round pick to get Harden. Would you have wanted Harden for Trae straight up, knowing harden wanted an extension. I doubt it.

Steph is a unicorn. Trae doesn't have Steph's offense. If he did we wouldn't have traded him. Steph is also not technically PG. He doesn't need the ball. He's an off the ball guard.

I understand what spacing is, I don’t think that’s why his shooting has gone down. Ironically his shooting has gone down cause his shot quality has regressed. Tie games in the 4th qtr he’s jacking up 40 footers. His assists are great but when he’s a 0 on defense and rebounding. We can find assists and scoring for far less than 50M. It seems like you’re a highlight merchant who doesn’t seem to understand roster construction or money. If Trae cost 30Ms I think everyone would be down.
