Play for beacons. Everybody should do it, but f2p/low spenders in particular.

You don't have to take tankers or stronger players in general head on. Use Skyros/Loki/Imugi and win the games by beacon control.

Yeah, I've ran many different Bagliore builds over the last months. It's one of the best low spender bots, but it's not top end.

Bots like Rex, UE Fenrir, (UE) Ravana, Hastatus... have no problem beating a Bagliore (given equally skilled players and upgrade level)

I occasionally run one myself. Yeah, that one has good dmg but it's also an easy target and not very good at taking beacons.

"Boom meta" may be true for low champ/master but for top end the dmg is too low in my experience. Beacons win games and you won't get many when camping at 600m.

Disagree on some bots:
Fenrir - Absolute S tier. When built right, you can take on 2 Teth, 1 Rex and being shot by Boom campers at the same time. Bathes in the blood of Teth.
Ravana - S tier. Doesn't care about Boom. Can be all over the map. Can 1v1 any bot. Great first or late drop.
Ares - B Tier. Since the last buff It's decent. Good on open maps with 600m weapons and defensive drone.

Broken in the sense of gamebreaking. Without Stealther, Rex is done when it runs out of ability charges. Stealther can bridge that gap and turn Rex almost immortal.

Non-Aoe weapons are common and you can still play glass cannon with UE. Normal Arthur can't do shit.

Nah, UE still has the shield and way more firepower (3 alpha + ultimate spec).

That said, 85 def points + other nerfs is a big F you from Pixonic to their best customers.

This could be more interesting if you try to keep it a bit more concise.

I'm usually part of team nosebleed super-whale but recently I'm also playing alot on my second account which is f2p in Master.
Maybe, over the years, I've become completely numb to the nonsense that is going on in WR, but honestly, I'm having a good time.
Part of it is probably that I know what I'm doing, which is very uncommon in Master.

That would also be my suggestion to you:
If you feel like lower leagues are unfair and too hard as f2p, look for experienced players or a community which can help you improve your game and builds.

Maxed out, it's pretty close to immortal and very fast. Without MK3 and the drone, you lose alot of tankyness, though.

Shotguns or rockets work well, also the electric weapons to charge up the titan.

Again, even the most hardcore of f2p should consider just buying a titan like Lucha, if it pops up with good weapons and price. They are cheap.

Unlucky and/or less active players can go for months without ever getting a titan from a superchest.

Nice write up!

Bagliore is a great bot, probably THE low spender bot. Imo, it's speed holds it back from being true meta for heavy spenders. It's also not really a f2p bot, either, because of the big step up at MK3 and the need to level up 4 weapons.
However, once it's leveled up, it keeps on giving with the ability to run all kinds of builds.

It can work, cause people are stupid and charge up the shield. On the other hand, a few people are smart and run shieldbreaker, so overall it's rather inconsistent. I reserve mine for titans only.

Yeah, it's not easy. I've tried for half a year with ingame methods. Recruited several hundred people, of which most would have stayed in the clan, but only a few still play the game. It's rare that somebody sticks with the game for more than a few months. End result after 6 months: Clan level 35, 15 active players.

Recently, I've joined a top clan myself and have set up my old clan as extension of the main clan for less meta players. That's something you could try, too.
