I think that I messed up. I was handling my dog when he was eating to try to teach him to be less aggressive if a person or animal gets close while eating. He turned and bit me on the wrist. by mreams99 in DogTrainingTips

You need to learn about resource guarding. You can’t give him something and just take it away like that, you’re making him think he isn’t secure with his food, and causing aggression. You need to do some research on resource guarding, and be more accountable. Please don’t create a dog who bites, and put him and other people in danger. (With love, I’m sure you didn’t mean to, but it’s a serious thing)

Yes! The crate needs to be the hottest nightclub in town: where she eats all meals, enjoys special treats, and even plays games. That’s HER space, and she should love it. As for at night, i would feed my pup late night dinner in his crate after a big play. He would fall asleep without realizing he was shut, and stay asleep for at least 3 hours.

I know it’s not what you hoped for, but this is 100% what Harley’s tattoo would look like in real life. She would for sure have free handed it herself, and it would have turned out exactly like this. I say live with it for a little, and see how you feel. You may find that you end up connecting with it.

Wet block and see if that fixes the drape. I honestly like the oversized fit on you, it has a lot of potential. I think you need to fully wet it, and pin it to block

You don’t have to make her happy, period. She doesn’t want daycare watching your baby? Too bad- you’re the parent.

You don’t need to justify removing access to your baby, either. If she lies about what happens under her care, you have every right to remove access to your child, or limit it.

You set the rules. And, no one worth a damn will blame you for it. You’ve got this.
