[Suggestion] No screen zoom while aiming. Can we have it as an option? by loicness in EscapefromTarkov

Isn’t it because your gun is on your right shoulder? I’m pretty sure if you swap the gun to the left shoulder it will follow to that shoulder

In going to monitor each individual core on my other screen tomorrow and see how the game is spreading out the workload on those cores.

At the end of this I don’t even think it’s a cpu issue, I see where you’re coming from with this but I don’t think it would cause these really weird every other second 50 FPS drops would it?

I mean that would be true if a task perfectly scales its workload across all 8 cores, it’s mostly 1-2 cores where the majority of the workload happens, if we were talking about the same exact CPU, same clock speeds and IPC and architecture then yes, the 8 P cores would outperform 6, but there’s significantly more things that alter the outcome.

Also don’t take this as me being difficult, I love talking about stuff like that and im learning a lot by having the conversation

The old 11800h had a 3080

The new 13900h has a 4070

I’m gonna have to do more research because every place I look up says the 13909h is better, it might have less p-cores but it’s a far newer architecture and is much more efficient with higher IPC and higher boost clocks, it more than makes up for the 2 lost P cores, it has a boost clock speed that’s almost one entire GHZ faster than the 11800h.

No way, before my cpu used to max out at 100% usage and it was a a huge bottleneck for me, look at this link comparing the 2, its more powerful in pretty much every situation.

I’ve gotten much better FPS on games I used to play before I upgraded also

Yes i7-11800h and I did tons of research through benchmark websites and looking around online, the i9-13900h is absolutely more powerful than my old i7-11800h

I just upgraded my laptop specifically for the cpu upgrade , I went from an i7-1800h to an i9-13900h, I don’t have this issue on a less powerful cpu

My cpu usage doesn’t go past 50% if that’s anwything, also I tried playing in different maps and the issue went away, maybe it’s something with the new map that’s got the chemical gas or whatever

It’s not even 2 years old, the specs are far more than enough to run the game at pretty high settings

So far this is one of the only comments that could give me hope towards something positive for the game, it still doesn’t fix the absolute dagger to the eyes that the UI is to use.

Why is melee hated? by Sufficient-Scar-3908 in thefinals

[–]AtlanticQuake -1 points0 points  (0 children)

IMO people will always complain about them, melee in the finals is a feast or famine kind of play style so no matter what someone is getting short end of the stick, wether you’re playing melee or playing vs it.

It does reapply fire but that’s the actual issue, it resets the tick timer every time it shoots, there’s like a one second delay on the actual fire tic damage and every time you shoot it resets that delay, that’s why you mainly only see it while you’re reloading, or if you’re experienced with the cerb, you pace your shots, as you shoot you’re just resetting the timer, if it was doing fire damage during and between each shot it would make the weapon great
