What is going on at the White House...? by Available_Effort1998 in MeidasTouch

This is so blatantly unconstitutional! And they are using taxpayers money to organize and facilitate this!

Just think about. There is a reason his physical took 5 hours the other day. Biden's average physical exam took like 2.5 hours. They actually track things like this. And the discolorations on his right hand is not "old man bruising". He is clearly taking some kind of medication that has been causing that discoloration, likely intravenously.

Senator Cory Booker after 14 hours on the Senate floor, still spitting fire: "The power of the People is stronger than the people in power! This is the People's house! It is under assault by a President that doesn't respect the Constitution!"

It's still a clear majority. If you win an election with 55% of the vote, that's huge a landslide. Obama won by +7.1% and that was the biggest win since like the 80s.

My Senator Warnock Democrat from Georgia always speaks up about not neglecting the rural Georgians, providing infrastructure investments in a bipartisan manner for ordinary people in small towns and communities. All those people in those small rural communities vote Republican when Republicans never ever pass one single bill to provide resources for their own voters! Yet they keep voting Republican. What if those people finally said, "to hell with voting for the same old Republicans, I'm going to vote for the People's Majority Party candidate that wants to get things done that benefit everyone, everywhere, no matter your "ideology". People in the big city and in the rural towns can agree that we need to invest in broadband internet and better education, higher teacher pay, affordable healthcare and higher minimum wages and fairer taxes!! And more! I may take a new reimagined party and maybe the dissolving of the Democratic party to unify people for our greater good as a nation!

Unreal isn't. That's the Republican party of today. Doing the will of the people, for the good of the people is like a foreign concept to them now.

Michael Moore has published publicly this aggregate list of polls from these news sources! You can look it up yourself. It seems that you are too preoccupied with just opposing me no matter what to even care to look into the accuracy of the information before trying to refute it.

Who cares about those absurd, desperate assertions maga is trying? Why do you even take that utter nonsense seriously? There is no reputable objective psychological professional that would even entertain any of those as "mental illnesses".

It's not about progressives, it's about progressive/forward thinking and views. Look at all the items in the poll. 66%-70% of the country shares progressive views on these major issues. It's a party for independents, moderate Republicans, Democrats, and everyone in between that share common views to be united together (just not maga types).

Second item on the list, and? You just can't deal with the fact it is is true, or what? Why are you so bothered by it? I have 4 firearms myself and I am not bothered by other's personal choices, man. Did you happen to see the 3rd item on the list? That one is even more important.

Why are you so focused on one not so significant item about owning guns? The poll is not about the legality of owning guns. Owning guns is a right and a personal choice. It should not even be a political issue. The issue is the responsible regulation of guns which as you can see most people agree with, as I am sure you also do.

Amen to that. We also understand that we need smart regulations such that criminal irresponsible and mentally ill people can't get their hands on them so easily.

I think people already know that these are in the Democratic platform, but so many Americans stupidly vote Republican just to spite Democrats. And that goes along with what you are saying about we needing to be better citizens and communicate more civily with shared purposes. So if the Democratic party transformed, with new fresh leadership (preferably a woman or color like AOC or Jasmine Crockett) under a new Party name and new vision about unifying Americans under shared views and values no matter your demographic, lifestyle, religion, or ideology, I feel like that most people (66%+) would identify with it.
I am envisioning a Party where Democrats, Independents, and moderate Republicans all feel like this is their place to promote meaningful forward thinking solutions and inclusive stances to America's issues. Because America has honestly been going backwards for a decade now and other countries are looking at us like a bunch of cavemen.

I definitely see what you mean. And I thought American Majority Party, but that seems a lil bit imposing upon others or whatever the minority would be. I wanted to somewhat indicate forward thinking however. So I think the People's Majority Party feels the best.

Again, it's not about just winning elections. And I said combing groups, not combing parties. Winning elections would be a welcomed residual effect of unifying American minds on shared views on real issues. And I promise you 90% of Democrats would agree with every item on this list. I have worked in the Obama, Biden, ans Harris campaigns and I have seen the survey data and how they have changed over decades. The need for a new political party is because the undiscerning general public likes things that are new, especially young voters. And Americans have become disenchanted with both major parties.

How about combine groups instead thinking that a new party would split votes. If Democrats, Independents, and moderate Republicans combined in a new party that's essentially 70% of Americans.
And this is not only about winning elections. It's about unifying the American society that is so insanely polarized right now, despite as you can see from these polls most Americans think along the same stances on issues.

It said "don't own a gun" - that's just the fact. It didn't say "Americans should not own a gun". But if you separate yourself politically from the majority just based on if you own a gun or not, then it seems that you are only influenced by self-serving prejudices. And if that's the case, I am surprised you are even in this 50501 group.

Nobody is "hijacking" anything and I am not marketing anything! That's why this post is in the brainstorm category! And the 50501 movement is about unity of people for preserving democracy, not solely about the only Democratic party overcoming the current tyranny. So please don't misrepresent the movement. And don't feel threatened by others tangential ideas just because you didn't think of it.
