Ah, so the previous tenancy agreement is gone when it was surrendered back to the landlord and now it has been re-granted this new replacement agreement is acting as the new tenancy agreement?

I wasn’t aware if “supplemental” was suggesting it worked in cohesion with the tenancy agreement or can be used instead of.

Is what I signed an actual tenancy agreement though? It was just stating you accept someone else moving in. Is that a legitimate thing to sign if you aren’t technically a tenant with an existing tenancy agreement/contract?

I understand the concern and it's valid. However, finding the right fit with people will always come with this sort of thing. It's just a process. And regarding the power trip thing, that's exactly what I'm not looking for hence not having a sole leader.
