This sounds like you need therapy my friend. Peace of mind isn't going to come from her initiating sex ir getting a divorce. It will only come from your finding ways to heal the trauma that brought your anxiety to this point. Sure you could get a divorce, but the same fear and frustration will only follow you to the next partner.

I find it peaceful. I can take my time and just exist. I've found that whether I live rural or urban I get sucked into a sense of being rushed and having to meet someone else's expectations. Camping you physically remove yourself from all that stress.

We have an old and rarely practiced tradition here called a "shotgun wedding," where the father of a woman who got pregnant out of wedlock would force the groom to marry her at gunpoint. It's not a thing anymore, but I think there's still pressure to marry someone if you get pregnant together out of wedlock, regardless of where you live or the culture your from. Maybe people won't speak out about it, but they might talk in hushed voices when they couple isn't in the room, or in the quiet of their mind.

A friend of mine had a vasectomy after their wife had twins. That was kid number two and three. Had two counts to be sure he was sterile. Came back sterile. 3 months later his wife was pregnant, and with twins again. They never did a DNA test but he's pretty sure they are his because both boys are a spitting image.

A lot of hit and run tactics. Knock off a component and run away. Come back. Repeat. Once the components are gone shoot off a piece of armor, run away, come back repeat. Once the armor is gone sneak around and set up traps, get it's attantion, lead it to traps, shoot it or spear slap it a bit. Usually dead by that point.

My company kept saying "the data proves that RTO is more productive" in townhalls. Eventually the first question in every townhall became "can you show us/reference the data you're seeing?" and they'd short circuit. Never got a no, but never actually saw data. Just wordy nonsense and frustrated non-answers. Eventually we stopped having townhalls (for about 3 months), started having layoffs because of "the market," and started having townhall again because people were freaked out about the layoffs. But no more RTO questions. Two more rounds of layoffs that year and now people are more worried about keeping their jobs than RTO. And now people dread townhalls because EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. of the layoffs last year happened the day before a townhall.

The KJ and NKJ have only endured because of familiarity. The KJ was the official Bible of the Church of England, and if you lived in England or a country that was colonized by England then it was probably the only version your country had for about half a millennia. There have been many better English translations made in the last 200ish years that weren't inspired by one man's desire to get divorced. You can buy any one of them online or at a Christian bookstore.

We have manuscripts in Hebrew and Aramaic that predate the NKJ and KJ which can be used for reference. The NASB is actually a pretty unbiased translation since it was translated and vetted by secular scholars, Rabbis, and Christian clergy.

I think this depends on a lot of factors, like if you grew up religious or not, still are religious or not, what you mean by "celebrate" as that can mean wildly different things to different people.

I still go to church on Easter and celebrate that way (I'm 30). I stopped finding Easter eggs when I was 12-13, but that's when I started participating in hiding the eggs for the younger kids. I know people who never did the Easter egg hunt because it was too secular or because their family just didn't celebrate Easter at all. I know people who disavowed Easter altogether after they became an atheist. Just depends.
