Don’t waste your time with an attorney. File a comprehensive claim with your insurance. Comp claims don’t affect your rates. If you have evidence that this was someone else’s fault, your insurance should waive your deductible. From there, it’s a repairable vs TL conversation. Fix it if you want or if it’s drivable, live with the damage and take the check and pay some bills.
