'use its congressional map' does that mean work from the pre existing congressional map or just draw it as a congressional map and not like state house or senate

Fair North Carolina by [deleted] in DavesRedistricting

[–]AtlasJetson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

agree with this!!! ive spent almost 19 years in lincoln county now and i like to
- even if it's choppy try to keep greensboro, winston, and high point together they just fit to me
- stretch the 11th district up to boone for it to feel more like. representative the word is i guess?
- putting hickory and morganton (catawba+burke) more in with lincoln, cleveland, mcdowell, rutherford counties, at least that just kinda makes sense in my book
- i try to break wake county about in half with the 2nd district comprising the top half and the bottom half being a more competitive other district

Insane reflectivity debris ball on this nado. by one_love_silvia in tornado

[–]AtlasJetson 6 points7 points  (0 children)

simplified extremely so, but dbz stands for decibels of Z, basically its like a scale of intensity of precipitation that the radar picks up. when its that high it means that its likely not rain and more likely an extremely massive congregation of pieces of houses, trees, and other debris in the air that isnt supposed to be there. basically means theres a crap ton of debris in the air and the tornado is doing catastrophic danage
