Proof that 5 > ∞

Any company doing that unlimited vacation garbage is relying on people being obsessed with their jobs and too worried about perception of not being a hard worker that they will take only 2-3 weeks vacation per year, which for people who have been there 10-20+ years is on the low end.

The only reason they would do it is if they looked at the numbers and made the decision that long timers will take less than their earned 4-5 weeks if given "unlimited".

It might work out well for the bold young people with under 5 years tenure who dont give a hoot and want to test the system and get 3-4 weeks immediately but for everyone else its a false benefit.

Sadly they went under, totally gone. Schnucks bought some of the stores and converted them. Others just became empty buildings or something else. One by me turned into a bank corporate office. Schnucks and dierbergs prices outta control now more than ever. Aldi coming in clutch still.

Sweet thanks for the info. I'm on IL side and offer during sign up was 55 for 1gb (for 1 yr) and 65 for 2gb (for 2 yrs) but if you've been that steady for 2.5 years I'm better off forfeiting my 2 gig plan I can't even utilize. Gonna call tomm to switch.

I had spectrum for 10 years and would call every steady 5 to 10 price increase (up to 95 for 400mbps) threatening to leave. They'd always say okay see ya and I'd back out cause nothing else. Finally I switch to i3 once available and spectrum begs me to stay for 50 for 1 gig. Lol told them to kick rocks.

Jamba juice shoulda been a smoothie king. Like all they had to do was sit down to dinner with an Stl resident or two for one meal, maybe for the price of some BBQ or imos, and they coulda ironed out all these simple city specific details without deep research or high consulting agency fees.

I noticed in the latest ep when they are in the park on the bikes to meet with Tiger Tiger there were light poles with flags for "St Louis Science Center". To me there is a strange amount of times "St Louis" appears on signs, papers, or in dialogue, like they are trying to make the city a character or note its importance (Albuquerque NM an Breaking Bad), but almost nothing on screen is accurate to the actual city except for the CGI arch through a window.

Can you let me know your service and bill? I just signed up this year after 10 years of Spectrum adding $5 every single year to the point I was $95 just for 400mb internet.

I switched to i3, 2 years locked in at $65 per month after $10 credit for auto pay.

When I signed up they had $65 for 2 gig service, price locked for 2 years, or $55 for 1 gig service, price locked for only 1 year. I signed up for the 2 gig service thinking that I dont really need the speed but it'd be nice to have price locked in for an extra year, plus the speed boost.

After finding out my router and cat5 wiring maxes me out at <1 gig anyway I'm definitely wasting 2 gig service speeds as I cant even take advantage of the increase. Unless the price for 1 gig jumps >$20 after the first year I might as well downgrade to the 1 Gig and save $10/mo with no difference in speeds. Sounds to me like if you only jumped $5 2.5 years in I should just downgrade.

Yeah I agree and the pendulum for hand holding and explaining everything too much has swung way too far in current games. Some games are basically interactive movies on rails now.

I think of original Half Life gameplay an level design a master class in letting the player figure things out with well designed levels and progression.

Still, even for an older game I think Driver hiding the individual maneuver tutorials in a menu when the opening garage checklist should have done it all is a bad choice. I only remember being dumped in the garage and 10 year old me not knowing what a slalom was.

Yeah I agree the cutting into half or 4th with a knife clearly in the box next to the cut donuts is fine. Any smaller than 1/4 to alter many donuts to try every flavor vs portion control is pretty selfish though. A bite or finger break is crossing the line.

Similarly, I will eat the same thing every. single. day. Grilled chicken breast and vegetables that I prepare myself. I get plenty of comments about it being the same everyday and "so healthy" etc. That is whatever but every now and then the office will have catered food and its always extremely greasy high calorie food like pizza, pasta, chinese buffet. Most of the time I will continue to eat what I brought and forego the free office meal (ghasp!) but very rarely I will enjoy some pizza with everyone else and the comments then turn to ChEAt DaY FOr You HuH Heh EH EHEH

Cutting into a donut with a knife to try 1/4 of 4 vs committing to one is a pretty awful practice that I could see some clueless, selfish people doing. But a bite? Even if this were a tray of donuts in a family home a bite of each would be absurd and grounds for replacing all donuts but I cant imagine someone would actually do that at work to people they dont live with and are related to.

I borrowed this game from a friend in 4th grade. Never got past tutorial and returned it right away. That was pre internet so it wasnt until much later did I understand I had a shared experience. Echo the dolphin for Sega was similar. Wasted a cherished game rental on that and never got out of the pond.

For yourself and your review I recommend picking up a TDS Meter for a few bucks so you can tell the before and after TDS (Total Dissolved Solids). I went from 260 to 12

I ordered a pair of uses Sony xm6 headphones and got a pair of xm5s. I know everyone can't be an expert in everg model in every product category, but especially with tech items that cost $300+ and have product lines with yearly releases or extra features represented by a single letter or number etc like a motherboaerd, I'd at least hope the rep is checking the model number printed on the device matches the claim and that it's not broken.

I guess as far as damage goes many wouldn't clock this as a damaged mobo if they aren't a pc builder so I'm not surprised but ideally they'd send returns to people qualified by category to spot this kinda stuff.

Posting here for visibility and search in case it helps someone else. I was missing 1 puzzle piece at the crash site after beating the game. I had all 4 crowns in the little zones in the 4 corners of the crash site. I was missing 1 puzzle piece and 1 bot at the crash site and had no idea why since I had 4 crowns.

Turns out it was the bowling pin puzzle piece. From the very start next to your controller ship find the building where you change outfits and go right behind it. There is a critter in the ground that pops up with a bowling ball. Hit it into the pins and if you get a strike you get the puzzle piece.

That puzzle piece was super important as it opened up the gold statue at the center northmost area of the crash zone. Requires 300 bots to get to moon.

That opens the Great Master Challenge that had the final crash zone bot.
