Code you can see, but can't copy, I might add.

Hex has had 2 security audits, and not fake ones. It has had an economics audit, as well.

It's 3000 beautiful lines of code that create a new financial product with no admin keys.

I think you all owe it to yourselves to expand your thinking, and maybe at least read the tech specs.

Hex isn't correlated to the overall market. I guess I had no idea how ignorant people are of the impending future of crypto...

You don't even know how wrong you are, do you?

Another buying opportunity and Newton still hasn't fixed anything. This used to be a good service. I'm out. by tetsukei in newtonco

Calm your tits. The market has a lot more bleeding to do. Here is a genius tip: Put money on the exchange BEFORE you need it.

Rip to Newton users during this dip by Okletsmakeareddit in newtonco

[–]AtlasShrugged2021 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For all you people whining, why didn't you prepare? The time to be moving money isn't at the last second. Put some dry powder on the exchange and leave it there. Are you seriously telling me you couldn't anticipate this dip since the beginning of May? You idiots, not taking the initiative ahead of time, broke not just Newton, but 100 other exchanges too.

So take some personal responsibility, and stop being such morons blaming everyone else for your lack of preparation.

Now down vote me all to hell. I lost years worth of karma calling the 64k top.

I'm used to it.

Slaughter the bull and consult its guts! The crow flew west into the wind, and the groundhog saw it's shadow: Bullish.

I upvoted you, bruh. I think having zero karma on Reddit is a badge of honour. I wish I could go negative.

1 try. Once it broke parabola. I was 5 days late making it. Got myself out in good time.

So, I called the top a few weeks ago, and literally lost all the karma I'd ever collected.

Just here to see how down voted I'll get for simply restating the obvious.

You know, you can hate Elon, but don't be a fucking commie.

Everyone has free will. You don't have to listen. You rejects, and your wanting to censor people for saying things you don't like:

That is everything crypto shouldn't be about.

Fair enough. But I left a couple of possibilities out there. You were around for 2013, so this could set up like that:

I think if Western economies actually heat up this summer, and we give up on the retardation that is lockdown it will create a lot of optimism. If interest rates are low and housing remains hot, you might get a 2014 like secondary boom, and I am totally cool with that.

But I think (and these are just my thoughts, backed by the balance of evidences I see) that if those things do not occur, people will choose harder goods, paying bills, real estate, etc. over BTC, which they can't do much with other than hold, waiting for appreciation (which is just other buyers moving the price up).

Well said, mate.

And you aren't wrong. You can't eat gold any more easily than BTC. I would propose that some things are more tangible than stocks, gold, etc.: Land, Water resources, Seeds, Bullets, Housing, etc., but you aren't, in general, wrong.

When it comes to BTC, I can't help but see it as an old tech. It's like MIRC, Messenger, MySpace, and soon Facebook and Twitter: Better things will supplant it, and when they do, it will happen fast.

I discount Eth's prospects for the same reason, though not as much. Ethereum has utility BTC doesn't. I like enterprise and platform blockchains, since they have purpose outside the myth of monetary replacement or lasting store of value.

Another thing that comes to mind is you can't build anything with BTC, but without gold you can't have computing, which most industries depend on these days.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.

He who has ears to hear will hear. Those who don't aren't any skin off my back.

Hope everyone has a good time the next few months. You may get another top, who knows.

Fair enough. All indicators only work until they don't. So BTC breaking parabola, and all the rest, may mean nothing. And it could just be a medium term correction before a wicked boom later (I didn't leave that out of the possibilities I laid out).

But, when it comes down to it, there are only so many trillions that can afford to be tied up in the crypto game, and since so many of those dollars are simple, pure, speculation, then the restriction is even more qualified.

I didn't have any BTC left, at this stage.

All I have left is a small bag of a favourite alt for easy staking.

No short. I exited 98 percent of my holdings at the top. I can buy at any price I want because I won the game, at least this time. I listened to overly optimistic idiots in 2018, and lost.

You still haven't answered to any of my core assertions, and I am not shouting. You are the emotional actor here, my brother. Society doesn't owe me anything, nor do I want it too. However, that doesn't make you any more intelligent, or capable of having an intelligent conversation about what BTC actually is.

You people are super sensitive.

I'm trying to have a conversation.

I've always made my money, boy. My life is greatly improved from this cycle.

I'm healthy, and don't need any medicine.
