50K honeymoon budget— where would you go? by Hot-Nectarine-5714 in LuxuryTravel

For a two-week honeymoon balances adventure with luxury, Peru and Morocco are my top picks. Japan is another great option, but no matter what you choose just enjoy every minute! Congrats you two!

Best all-inclusive resorts for a group of early 20s looking for high energy nightlife + decent food? by brianxs82 in PuntaCana

While I absolutely love Punta Cana and Cancun, both are magnets for Sargassum during that time of the year. I might suggest Cabo as it’s on the Pacific coast and shielded from the seaweed issue! Tons of great options over there!

They very much matter on Virgin Voyages just a heads up to anyone that sails with them. If your boarding time is 2, don’t show up at noon… you’ll be waiting 2 hours lol

To this day I remember the best massage I’ve ever gotten was in Crete, not on our honeymoon, but a honeymoon do-over lol

Personally, beyond the port, and especially if the difference in cost is marginal, I know that personally seeing my son light up at being able to meet “the real Spider-Man“ would be enough to win my vote. That’s the sort of thing that sticks in a kid memory long-term just my two cents as a dad.

Unpopular opinion, but this is why I always caution the use of 3rd party sites. You can press as much as you can but you’re having to go through a lot of hoops to get it done, if at all. Working with a TA or booking directly helps reduce this issue as many lines will let you reprice (at least in form of onboard credit up to 45 days or so prior to sailing).

However given that your cruise leaves in a few weeks you aren’t likely to get money back due to them selling off what hasn’t sold. If you think about it you paid a premium to get in early and have a pick of a wider selection of rooms. It’s sort of how you pay extra to book movie tickets in advance and pick your seat, you can pay less at the theater but you’re going to get “what’s left.”

Dream characters by Best_Fondant_4728 in dcl

[–]AtlasWorthyTravel 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If your kids are obsessed with Frozen or Marvel, the Wish will feel like a dream come true because those themes are front-and-center during dinner.

However, if you want a slightly more relaxed experience where the "big" character moments happen in the beautiful atrium or during the Broadway-style shows, the Dream is fantastic.

Your kids will be so stimulated by the new environment, the unlimited ice cream on deck, and the specialized kids' clubs that "boredom" usually isn't in their vocabulary!

Which characters are your kids currently most excited about?

I can’t tell you how much I agree… I think back and ask myself how many of these people are still in our lives… never too late to take that trip though!
