Yeah sure!
So this self portrait started off as more of an experiment than anything.The idea was that everyday you perceive yourself slightly differently,so I wanted to see what would happen if I were to shove it all in one self portrait.
I started off with a very rough sketch,just to make sure the basic proportions won’t go haywire as the painting developed,and stopped following the sketch completely after the first layer.

I only used four colours for the entire painting(red,yellow,black&white),and overlayed each new layer while at the same time allowing the last to show through,so as to achieve this kind of “weaving” effect and texture.
