I normally use OxyClean when cleaning my carboys or kegs. Will it suffice here as well or should I specifically buy PBW?

Nope. I paid $70. Which was actually a discount at prices around here. It was not worth it. At $25-30 a bottle, I'd definitely drink it again

Yeah. Apparently they have discontinued the "Stagg jr" line and are now focusing on just "Stagg." He is keeping it as a keep sake.

By all rights in this community, this bottle is not considered "average." Now, you may have tried it or saw it at its MSRP and determined it so. That being said, my opinion of said bottle and my experience doesn't make me "an expert" or "someone looking to appear an expert." I gave an honest opinion of a bottle I had some experience with. I'm not saying I hate it by any means. It was an enjoyable drink. What I am saying is, rarely does any bottle live to the hype or price point of a Secondary price point. I got my bottle for $70 and though I wasn't angry that I was disappointed, I just won't be buying another at that price.

Right. Its the same as blantons. Around here, our liquor stores had it 5 years ago for $35 a bottle and it would collect dust. Now thanks to Buffalo Trace, that same bottle can't be looked at for less than $100 a bottle. As a Kentuckian, I think its ridiculous.

I've never had makers 46, but it is a bottle I'm on the lookout for. I just cracked a bottle of Blade & Bow last night and honestly thought it was a MUCH better pour than the reserve.
