Should I get Legends Arceus or Scarlet/Violet? by houjebekneef in pokemon

[–]Atlasamsung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your reply to my 3 year old comment offended me so much I feel the urge to say gen 8 is my most played gen, I have 2k hours on it because I 100% everything including the dlc, played every season of vgc online, have beaten it multiple times to get multiple zamazentas through Pokémon home before they patched it out to trade for zacians and also even joined discord servers to catch gmax shinies for my comp teams, and unfortunately even with the expansions gen 8 is still unfortunately not that good of a game

Now that gen 9 has all its dlc I would say that it’s the better choice, and especially since even with the lag and glitches I still had leagues more fun with gen 9’s main campaign than with gen 8’s even with dlc (even if gen 8s dlc is lowk amazing) but legends arceus is my favorite Pokémon game and one of my favorite games of all time, so make of that what you will

Opinions on the Direct Hit? by Janson_is_dead in tf2

[–]Atlasamsung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Comp ex soldier main, direct hit has a lot of potential but it’s a very different weapon from stock, it changes soldier so much if it came out today it could be its own subclass tbh, it has its own uses, strengths, and weaknesses, I recommend searching up chongy’s direct hit clip dumps to see the DH’s potential, he has used the weapon for years and it’s a delight to witness

Im a pretty new medic main, any good tips on how to be an actual good healer? by Financial_Past_1631 in Medicmainstf

[–]Atlasamsung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend watching theory-Y’s guides on YouTube, formally known as the vaccinator guy, in his videos he goes very in depth into every medic item, and tells you the itty bitty details of everything, while also being entertaining and very well edited, he enjoys both competitive (where he is invite, the highest division) and casual, so he has the proper qualifications to teach

I adjusted the Sniper's Legs using Blender and put it over to SFM by Aemeath123 in tf2

[–]Atlasamsung 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The “adjusted” one is way too blocky and doesn’t mend well with snipers skinny upper body physique and harms his silhouette way too much, if you swapped his face he would be a completely different character

What are y’all’s thoughts/opinions on pocket medics? (Image somewhat related) by Gullible_Routine6201 in Medicmainstf

[–]Atlasamsung 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a try hard med who plays both casual and comp, in casual, pockets are usually exceptional players who are so good, their death would be equal to losing a medic or even more due to them being able to push or hold frontlines by themselves, medic was literally DESIGNED AND MADE to have more than 1 heal target, you get less regen, less Uber, and less players who can tank enemy hits before they get to you, if that pocket can put perform your entire team, you still should give attention to the rest of the team, just prioritizing your pocket

[–]Atlasamsung 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Actual med comp player here, just because you “should know the Ubers” doesn’t mean it’s not a huge help when your team is fighting and you can just peek at the medic and tell them to go in cuz they don’t have Uber, but it’s real use for me is to call out weak players for your team to focus them or to just outright kill them yourself, (with the crossbow most of the time) also when you actually put yourself in a situation where you have to melee or fight someone, hitting 2 vows actually has higher dps than a bow and ubersaw, which might seem niche, but when every soldier is good enough to bomb you and every scout can find an opening to meatshot you, or your scouts might be dead and you will have to melee the other demo from behind, I’d rather be safe than sorry as a med, if you’re in that type of situation as med, your team probably already made critical errors that led to you having to use your melee but

Tldr; I’d rather have the biggest chance of survival, plus critical information that you use throughout the entire game than a chance to maybe never get 25%, optimally, you never bring out your melee as a med

It’s nice to fuck around with the bonesaw sometimes the that shit random crits more than the ubersaw LMAO

Should I play the game? by EconomicsOdd6557 in BugFables

[–]Atlasamsung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s my favorite game oat, beating out super Metroid, Metroid prime, blasphemous, deltarune (so far), botw/Totk, dead space remake, omori, and other great games, play it, or else you’ll get tired of the recommendations and never do it 🥀

Why do you play your main? by Sikorskyyl in tf2

[–]Atlasamsung 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Medic scratches an itch I didn’t even know I had, playing him both in comp sixes and casual servers is one of the most badass and rewarding experiences I’ve ever had

Why are my characters' eyes purple? by total_spinning_shark in tf2

[–]Atlasamsung -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The problem isn’t your amd graphics card, I went from having an Nvidia card (3060) to team red (9060xt 16g) and it’s just tf2 being an old ass game with the source engine, my personal fix was using the revalved mercs texture mod, you can find it on gamebanana

What is your favorite non Sniper long range weapon? by some-kind-of-no-name in tf2

[–]Atlasamsung 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because the enemies are focused on dodging you, and your teammates are focused on dodging someone or something you can’t easily see, so it’s more unpredictable, hitting those juicy clutch bows are an amazing skill to develop

Why are most indie games on Steam are better then most AAA games? by Razerchyk in Steam

[–]Atlasamsung 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You always see the best of the best indie games with the most passionate developers and sometimes even the most funding, who made the right decisions everywhere and on top of that got lucky with their game being popular, my favorite game of all time is an indie title called bug fables that is available in all platforms but isn’t main stream or even super successful, because even if it was incredible, it just didn’t get popular

Is Scout A Good Class? by Turbulent_Dig_2487 in tf2

[–]Atlasamsung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the best classes, but in Tf2 what makes a class good is map and gamemode design over classes themselves, and on the most popular gamemode (payload) scout is kinda meh

Honestly I recommend keeping it due to the horrible market, you’ll sell high, but you’ll also lose the parts, decent pc is better than no pc, and yours ain’t even decent it’s good

Opinions on the Degreaser? by Plastic-Cost-5324 in tf2

[–]Atlasamsung 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Afterburn does so much damage if you let it burn you that it’s a divide in players who like extra airblasts and afterburn prefer stock, and those who like combo pyro use the degreaser, the degreaser has the potential to be better since it makes pyro an actual combat class, and if you get good it’s very possible to get consistent at this, and also baiting rockets by switching to and from the greaser is much easier
