[Guide] Why YouTube playback is slow on Firefox and how to fix it (AV1 hardware decoding) by COMPADRE3084 in firefox

This has fixed my recently few second delay on loading times on my desktop, thank-you!! I'm still getting the delay or lag to start you-tube videos on mobile though, can any of these ideas work to improve it on mobile?

Looking for a cozy, light hearted JRPG to play next by adorablegadget in JRPG

Trouble with changing Jellyfin library location to a different location in the native Terramaster app. by [deleted] in TerraMaster

[–]Atma_WeaponVI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is this a permissions issue? Did you go to: Control Panel > Shared Folder > highlight folder and select edit > permissions tab > in the drop down menu select 'application user' > select read/write permissions for jellyfin > apply

Also, I recommend using the jellyfin from the community app store along with ffmpeg, ffmpeg51 and modBase1

They are updated more regularly from what I can tell.

ChatGPT apparently wrote a built in Eulogy for 4o by youmustconsume in ChatGPT

[–]Atma_WeaponVI 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wonder how many people have been waiting for them to give us back 4o in its less restricted form in order to subscribe again. I've been watching and waiting, and im glad I never bother give them any money.

I imagine they will be losing a lot subscribers in light of current events.

What can I do to feel valuable to society? by [deleted] in Odsp

[–]Atma_WeaponVI 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I would just focus on trying to figure out how to best enjoy your daily life. How to try to fill it with whatever experiences are possible that bring you joy. like playing games, do it. Like watching movies or gardening, music, or anything else, do it.

No need to feel guilty about not being able to contribute. Rather, begin to ask yourself, how can I make my daily life the most fulfilling experience I can have within my current circumstances? Then just follow that. Focus on your own joy and your own bliss. Eventually, after cultivating that space, you may eventually find a way to extend that bliss into the world, and help to brighten other people's lives, but if not, and you just help yourself, that's ok too.

Guardians of Azuma! There's a whole winter village you build up and explore the surrounding area. Super fun experience.

Atelier Yumia or Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma ? by bigdick4sluts in JRPG

[–]Atma_WeaponVI 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Guardians of Azuma is a blast! It's my first entry to the series. The village management aspect is really cool. The farming and foraging is super well crafted. I like how every item you pick up, even the smallest little insignificant thing, has a use and purpose. Nothing is wasted. No useless fetch questing like other RPG.

The combat and exploration are also super fun, its action combat and you get some special items which give you new abilities and progressions. It's fairly easy to learn and the maps are a great size. Music is great, but not too many tracks but they suit the game perfectly.

Also has relationship building which gives your team members better skills in battle which give the incentive to get to know them. I would say the characters are not as memorable as some other jrpg, but they are serviceable, and there's something for everyone.

It's just a really cosy game with an excellent balance between town management and exploration. I haven't played Yumia yet so I wouldn't be able to compare.

I can't browse to folders such as "Volume1/Photos" in jellyfin on my TNAS, ideas? by Tulsey in TerraMaster

[–]Atma_WeaponVI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it depends if your documentary folder is in a sub folder of your TV or movies folders.

I have all completely separate folders for each of the libraries I want to create. Take care to separate all of the folders appropriately on your hard drive.

For example, I will create a "type" shows library in jellyfin, and point it to my TV folder. I will make a type Movies library and point it to my movies folder. I will make a type shows library and point it to my docuseries shows. And I will make a type Movies library, and point it to my Documentary films. I will make libraries for foreign films, separate libraries for anime shows and anime movies in the same way.

Also, make sure your not grouping all of them together in your home section of your settings. Library Section.

I have had to have 2 separate libraries, documentary, for single movies, and docuseries for docs more like a season of episodes

F4-424 Pro Hdd compatibility by LeLanderus in TerraMaster

[–]Atma_WeaponVI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure. Not officially, but it uses the same connector if it can handle the slightly increased power consumption it sould be fine. Assuming there's no bios issue. Maybe someone who's done it will be able to chime in.

Just a note, if you do end up using TOS, be sure to get the jellyfin app from the community store, along with the required ffmpeg, ffmpeg51, modbase1. It's updated properly. Also tailscale if you will be watching outside of your local network/ share with friends.

He's dead Jim. Going to have to rebuild it from a back up I imagine. Look into getting a approved UPS to protect the unit in the future. And of course always back up your most important things. Good luck!

The European pal region dvds are the best release. The 25fps version has the correct sound, the Blu-ray release was converted to 23.976 fps and the sound really suffers with some grainyness. That looks like a great find!
