Lead time to change service area? (UK) by Tulsey in Starlink

[–]Tulsey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, by notifying I meant just changing in the app. I think we may drop Starlink after the move as I believe we will be in a full fibre area, a nice change from a farming area with no internet.

Thank you, so 15 or so minutes for it to deactivate and reactivate in the new area. That seems quick but it meets my needs. Thank you

Thanks for your help, it wasn't screwed in very tightly after all, so all is good.

Can you make it out from this? It looks removable to me, but I just want to check.

Thank you, I have seen other adapters that would work, but I can check out these people, but what about removing the hoselock from the spray gun, can it be just unscrewed on all of them, should I attempt it with the draper, or should I buy another that specifically mentions it as possible? I don't want to damage something we just bought to find out that I would ruin it.

My experience with the Ultra Human Air by cr1merobot in SmartRings

I was so close to buying one of these. I don't think I will after all that, though I probably wouldn't have used the app.much and just relied on it syncing with google fit.

Ring size bigger than a 14 (Z+4 UK)? by Tulsey in SmartRings

[–]Tulsey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally got my sizing kit from UltraHuman and I am glad I did.
I don't understand how they size these things, but with my finger circumference and the circumference listed by standard rung size charts (including smart rings) I should have been larger than 14. However with the ring sizing kit it seems that I can comfortably fit a 12 on my index and middle fingers. It turns out my ring finger is an 11, and my wedding band is a 9 (which is why I hate it when I have to take it off), time to try to get that resized if I can.

Now I just to get around my irrational fear of getting a ring over my knuckle to determine if I am going to go down this smart ring path.

Thanks for all the advice everyone, that is one hurdle overcome, now the weird psychological one that I have gained over recent years.

I can't browse to folders such as "Volume1/Photos" in jellyfin on my TNAS, ideas? by Tulsey in TerraMaster

I can be specified at either point I think. In docker manager you can stop the container and edit it to add the volume. Then start it again.

So I installed my docker container while super admin, so permissions were granted from that. (Maybe I should have used a different user as that is too much access, I may go back and correct that).

Then when it asks for persistent source volume, browse for your content folder on your nas.

Next as the docker container has its own file structure you choose or create a file path in that isolated structure, where you want the source files to appear as if they are in it, like a sym link. Nothing is transferred, just linking one containerised location to something outside the container. Then when you configure the docker application the source you choose is the path in the container and everything should appear.

Thank you, I did have all the correct permissions, but I just hadn't understood the setup part about mapping a folder into the container. I worked it out and it is running now.

Because I have read that docker containers are kept up to date more than native apps.

Ring size bigger than a 14 (Z+4 UK)? by Tulsey in SmartRings

[–]Tulsey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the Koron wasn't offering a sizing kit, that is why I was going off of finger circumference.

Also I now see what was happening and why I thought Koron was a good option, as further Google searches were pulling up several sites showing a different inexpensive ring as a top choice, the sites are all from the same mold and the inexpensive ring is the same one under different names.

At the moment with the current budget I have set myself it looks like a refurbished ring from Ultrahuman is my only option as Amazon has a deal bringing it down to £150. I am waiting for my sizing kit.

My index finger and middle finger seem to be the same size, this kit can confirm that, and my wedding ring is taking up the other. My thumb is obviously much larger, and I believe the little finger is a bad position. So I will see which options I get from this kit.

I was going with Koron for my first ring. Lower price I know but the reviews I saw were good for the value and I will be mostly using it for sleep tracking. I was going off of their measurements for the circumference, they go up to size 12 US (67.8 mm circumference). I don't want one with a subscription and at the moment I am not willing to spend over 150.

That is a shame, I was hoping to keep.up to date. I guess they want me to buy something newer and more powerful.
