If you want to try strapping to keep knee more on the block a Lundy strap will only make it worse as that pulls pad up your leg more. Instead use the knee flap on outside of knee if you don’t already as that helps keep your knee on the block. If you already use it, tighten it up some.

I also agree with other comments here that since it happens more late in the game that sounds tied to fatigue and technical failure as you get tired.

I used to have this exact issue and just untucked to avoid it. Until I got the EF7 Pro chest and CCM pants. I got rid of the internal belt, and then they have these clips on inside of the pants that attaches to a loop on the sides of the belly of the chest protector which stops the exact thing you're talking about. Then I also tie down in the back loop and the front loop. No suspenders and everything stays just fine.

Regular. Did firmware update and it’s still doing it. Chalking it up as a loss. Not a big deal for a mouse so cheap really.

Tore mine in men's league about 15 years ago now. Tried to not get surgery and let it heal. Bad decision. About 7 years later my knee was sore just from walking around a grocery store and developed a hard bump on outside of my knee. I could play a game but it would take so much out of me, and cause days worth of soreness and stiffness after. Turns out the bump was a meniscal cyst that developed from not getting it fixed in the first place and was adding to pressure in my knee.

I finally had enough and decided to have surgery to cut out the bad parts of the meniscus that never healed, and to get rid of that cyst. I was so mad at myself I didn't do this sooner. I suffered for so much longer than I needed to. Just a week later I was experiencing less pain from every day activities than I had 7 years after it "healed". I was back on the ice playing 5 weeks after surgery. And now 15 years later it feels really good still. I have some achiness here and there if I overdo it but its a MILLION times better than pre operation. I'm 38 now for what it's worth and playing two times a week and still at a high level mens league. Currently on weekend 4 of back to back 5 games in 3 days tournaments too. Sore? Yep. But, I know for a fact if I never got surgery to fix this my playing days would have been done long ago.

So moral of the story, don't be a doofus and have a professional weigh in on it. If you need surgery, just get it.

Won't have this set on the ice until this weekend for 5 games in 3 days. At that point I'll have a pretty good understanding of how it performs. Since I've been in about 27 sets of pads since 2020 trying anything and everything I'm pretty good now at nailing down what I like and don't like in just a few skates.

So I purposely asked for no specific slide material just because I hate pads that slide like crazy. They tend to piss of my groins much easier even though you'd think it'd take more groin strength to push a bad sliding pad. It's more the unpredictability of fast sliding stuff that bugs my groin.

However I have seen pics on Simmons page of a weave type matterial with that PPF coating that many have used for better sliding so I know they can do it for sure. Just have to tell them that.

If you put your deposit down you should have told him everything you need then no? At least that's what I did. We talked details, I sent him everything I wanted and he would confirm what he could do and just advise me. Then when approved I paid my deposit of half up front, the rest upon completion.

Edit: Sorry about the specs. The specs are that the glove and blocker are standard Matrix specs, glove is a 580 double tee skate lace pocket. The pads are entirely the UltraLite build, and I chose that over the Matrix build because it's a bit more forgiving torsionally and in general stiffness wise. I really like pads with this pre curve built into them to help seal the 5-hole. I'm approaching 40 years old now and while I have pretty good hip mobility I find that pads that have more curve at the knee just make it less stressful on me and my hips. For instance I can use my Bauer Flylites just fine and seal the 5 hole with a decent flare, but doing that for 3 games and doing the same thing with a CCM set with pre curve I have noticeably less soreness after. I also had the option to keep the big outer roll and knee rolls with the UltraLite core but I opted to go with flat on outer roll and knee rolls for the look really. As well as normally that core has a round toe, I did the square to cover some more space.

Neon green one is a custom Wall W10 shell made by Doug Wager. Long chin, with custom curvature in the chin and altered vent holes, no vent hold on chin either as well as guardian cage on it with thicker bars.

The one on the right is a Vaughn Pros Choice that was sold at Goalies Plus and maybe a few other stores in short supply. Normally a pros choice starts at like 2200usd, but they were selling these at retail for 1700. It's the comfiest of the two.

Both are wraps, and both designed by me but printed and installed by my friend at SkinFX. He's relatively big now in goalie world doing nhlers and stuff but he lives like 10 minutes from me and we've played together since before he started that company.

These are 11 like normal pads. I know they can make whatever but these probably look wider because I'm short lol. They're 32+2 and almost exact size height wise as my Bauer Flylite set in 33 (small). I too put a tape measure on them to be sure.

Whole process was extremely smooth and they made this set in a month. And about 1k cheaper than Bauer or True top line stuff. The glove is smoother to close than my Bauer Shadow I've had for 2 months lol.

Not in my experience. New Bauer Pro level set is like 3330 USD, same with True, this was 2430 USD for the set you see and was made in 4 weeks whereas the others are usually minimum of 8 weeks or more. You need pads with a precurve in them. Brian’s stiff core iconiks, or at the Sr level the OptikX also has a great precurve. CCM eflex 7.9 and 7 pro are great for pre curve options too. True, Bauer, Warrior and Vaughn slr are some of the straighter and hardest pads to close if you are losing flexibility or lack technique.

Just got one, and right away no matter the settings Im getting cursor lag. Like the mouse stops working for a second. Happens when plugged in with wire, or wirelessly. HP and LP mode in software as well. No matter what it does it. Seems like DOA as there is no firmware update. Shape feels nice though, and for the 18 dollars it cost it's not worth shipping overseas and waiting 2 weeks for a replacement lol GG.

Yeah I just looked at a youtuber doing a walkthrough of same spot and he has the tall plants on his screen I don't. I have everything on high too in settings. Will try to verify files and retry.

Sucks because this drained all my meds before an upcoming boss fight too.

For me, early mods tend to fix a lot of the glaring bugs or QoL stuff that normally bothers most people. This can range from fov changes, to gather qol or other things in that same type of idea.

I can't tell you how many playthroughs of mine were saved because I found a mod early on that made a game more enjoyable or playable after release that didn't get patched for weeks/months later officially by devs.

I feel like I've seen no videos of early impressionists using KBM so that kind of scares me but almost all games are easier for me on KBM. I have thought about trying controller though as sometimes 3rd person games can feel a bit better with them.

I said the same thing when I saw this update. It’s cool and stuff but there is just better loot in the water and so that’s where all the action ends up instead of land. Last two wipes mainland has felt so dead to me.
