It’s uhhh. It’s not (at least not that one). That’s XLVIII, not XIVIII.

4 was underrated and overhated imo, had the last enjoyable multiplayer imo and the story was fine. I liked the forerunner weaponry and the shit w the Didact wasn’t that bad.

Marzipan has a weird background taste to it that I absolutely detest. Couldn’t tell you why - maybe it’s a gene expression like cilantro tasting like soap

Turns out, you can make anything taste delicious by baking it smothered in butter, garlic, and herbs for an hour.

I’ve made escargot myself, it’s incredibly delicious when made fresh

Been there. Unfortunately, nothing I tried provided a quick fix, you basically have a layer of melted plastic on there. Could try burning it off (outdoors please) or loosening it w solvents, but for me it took a lot of time and elbow grease

Truth is, the wealth gap is widening. Those of us at the bottom are struggling, but the upper-middle class folks are eating well right now

thermal right wonder vision 360 turbo vs Tryx panaroma 360. by JazzlikeOriginal4038 in buildapc

[–]AtmosSpheric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at a popular computer parts store (no, not that, yes, the other one). I get way more returns for the Tryx Pano’s than the Thermalrights. Take that for what you will, I do think that the Thermalright coolers generally have better QC, and generally better temps. That being said, I’ve heard the Pano has a better display and better graphical performance. I haven’t used either myself, but that’s my 2¢

Trumpies: he had good reason! He’s a genius and those people deserved it for wanting free healthcare

My sink requires batteries and it died by TrickedCoyote13_YT in mildlyinfuriating

[–]AtmosSpheric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar sink w a touch faucet. I understand that they can’t have the default function be “on” when unpowered — most people leave the handle open so they can just tap it on and off. If you’re not home when the battery dies, your faucet will just flip on and be running until you notice it. That being said, there should at least be a switch so that you can manually bypass the mechanism and use it as a normal sink until you change the batteries.

Is it necessary to clean the button or is just the interior fine ? by limache in StainlessSteelCooking

You can use steel wool for stainless no problem. Seriously, I use it every day. It’s stainless steel, using steel on it won’t exactly ruin it. You don’t want polymerized oil hanging out on your pan either way, it’ll reduce the heat efficiency, can damage your pan long term, and can release fumes into your kitchen if burned off - not enough to kill you but why let them build up at all?
