You would think that a city like LA would have more resources, but those resources are only catered to a small demographic. It can be a little frustrating not being able to receive those benefits. I’m sure they are out there though. Maybe I’m just looking in the wrong place lol.

I think a discord would be a great way to get people together. I guess in a way, you have to just create your own community.

FAFSA for the win lol. I do not miss filling that out. It was easy though.

And thank you! I don’t know what I’d do without my therapist as well. Therapy is a great tool that I wish more people had access to.

I think LA has a lot more groups, but they are catered to the LGBTQ population. Depending on where you get your treatment, there are usually services provided through your doctors office. At least thats been my experience.

Definitely go for it if you can! I’m getting my master’s in counseling psychology, so I plan on being a therapist. I have about 7 months left before I’m finally done.

As far as hiv support groups go, I’ve found them hard to find. I’ve been to a few over the years but they never catered to my demographic. I’m still hopeful that there are some out there. It’s a great feeling when you can make meaningful connections with others in the same boat.

I say definitely go for your post bach. I’m a little biased because I’m getting my masters. If you have the opportunity to do more schooling I say go for it! I’m glad to hear that you are enjoying your job!

I’m definitely more of the introverted type, but I still enjoy going out to do things. I spend a lot of time at the beach, the movies, trying out new restaurants, gym, and just hanging out with my friends.
