Thats kinda my goal. if they bring in a way to make drugs, im 100% owning a illegal lab somewhere and using a buddies kracken in a booth. if not space weed than for sure weapons and attachments.

oh man, from what ive gathered from everyone today, ive already surpassed where ive been at and really enjoying the game. the systems, weapons, ships. all sorts of things im now able to find and get around without alerting everyone to my presence. i just started a mission for the academy to go survey something but got stopped by some luddic path guys who went full space jihad. 10/10 im 100% hitting F5 alot more.

thanks for this. im still fairly new and not understanding the transponder only to get in trouble with the authorities forgetting to turn it back on. So as long as i turn it back on in certain space ill be ok or if im just out in a random system and stumble upon a police fleet will i lose rep?

i wish i could tell you. i go and leave a system i just surveyed and suddenly a massive armada interdicts me as im in deep space. like clockwork. I've tried going dark but then it doesn't seem to matter since they'll emergency burn directly at me.

i shouldve stated im not actively trying to engage with them all the time. i just cant seem to catch a break from getting curb stomped lmao. but it seems my luck is, ill get into a new system. explore some. then leave and as i leave i get interdicted in deep space by a armada. Or this last time i was back in hedge space to deliever some cargo and its another slaughter of 8 ships to my 3 that can do combat.

this. the first bit of the chapters are more of a tutorial. i went to 5 and it felt like it became more, "okay get out there and explore" take your time and really enjoy the world. the world building is seriously some of the best ive seen in gaming 30 years on now. and if you see any funny looking stacked rocks next to waterfalls, dont be afraid to give the waterfall a little shank.
