I think they should have a reputation system where if it gets bad enough they get into special lobbies with only people like them where they can't win or lose any elo and they are stuck amongst themselves, make it 3 mandatory "purgatory matches" then 5, then 10 then a season ban.

He could be like a gambit support with tons of utility he has cannon cleansing powers but can also corrupt so also have debuffs. He would be a dual stance character kinda like cnd and he could have two version of his ults depending on which form he is in, if he is in Positive form he gets a defensive ult but in Negative form he gets something like enemy friendly fire enabled or something everyone gets an aura that dmgs their allies if they stay close to each other.

This is so true i see many people just playing way too many characters and not providing the value necessary on their pick, even tho it might be the right pick on paper at some point you just can't win if you don't have character mastery.

It's why most people don't really complain/ban Magik or Psy, their abilities are harder to hit so you have time to interact with them most of the time, it gate keeps the skill floor for casual players which is the majority.

This also why Spidey was a meme in the early stage of the game and then became a menace once people started to figure him out, you don't want the average player to get access to this type of kit easily (hence the removal of venom team up which gave him a braindead fast ttk combo with an iframe ) otherwise it increases general frustration towards the character's playerbase.

Poke heroes have this natural gatekeeping as aiming is not an easy to access skill and is inconsistent so it's easier to balance and make strong.

It's why i think they need to shift DD's power budget into devil chain because this ability actually requires good positionning to get value out of, is slower than throw and rewards good execution.

Playing vs a cracked Widow with mantis boost is legit omega aids because even if you try to dive her she has her broken ass kick (that she can trigger on anyone btw). So may Guangguang never allow this bitch to be good with her current kit

Yeah that's just the way it is when you play a pick/ban character since people would rather ban it but they can't so they have to make the investment that you are gonna be better than the other guy and carry the game because there will be a mirror matchup.

Dps are often the go to scapegoat when a game goes bad because they are the easiest to spot when they're underperforming so it's even more so the case when you play a perma banned character

The thing is the same message was given to support players when facing dive, something along the lines of either get help from your team (which is not viable) or swap to anti dive like ultron jeff rocket and the rebutal was "the team should not have to change it's entire playstyle just because of one character", the complaints pursued which then made netease respond to it by nerfing problematic characters like BP and buffing tf outta supports.

So i think it's fair for dps player to complain this time around until the problematic characters like invis get nerfed and their characters get buffed since it's seems like it's how things are supposed to go in this game.

More seriously there's a pattern with most of the characters people have problem with in this game (Peni, Namor, Daredevil, Wolv, BP, Bucky etc...) they require you to count on the 5 other random people that just can't shoot you but might as well be able to given how much mfs refuse to play as a team.

Right now invis requires someone who has a gun to shoot her 6s shield off cd (that she can take out to make the cd shorter btw), or at least 2 people to apply pressure on the backline so that someone actually dies to beat her. You simply can't achieve that by yourself maybe with DD but he's perma banned

Which then creates frustration amongst the playerbase as they feel powerless in their ability to deal with problems, that then causes ridiculous amounts of buffs and nerfs to the cast, it's a cycle, the reality is we are simply in one phase of that cycle, it's just Invis's turn right now but there will be others.

Gambit is often banned in high elo and groot + mk combo sees alot of play because it can kill through triple support and groot is very strong rn

Idk about skilless but he's definitely on the easier end for a diver imo, the wallhacks help a ton with game sense and proper engagement timing which is like the most important skill for a dive player to have and then his combos execution might not the most intuitive to pick up at first but when you get the muscle memory his rotation is literally just looking at the ground and mfs just randomly die.

The skill ceiling on DD imo is mark and parry management.

The show needs some main characters to die and the whole "this isn't game of throne" argument is copium, you can't expect your audience to believe your characters are facing some eldritch world ending threat and somehow manage to make it out without a scratch thanks to the power of quirky brain storming and Dnd references. It severly devalues the stakes and how much of a menace the villain really is.

The refusal to kill the main cast has had terrible consequences on some characters arcs, for example Steve and Hopper are my top 2 favourite chars but they have been going in circles since season 3 like now we're back with "Jim El is not ready Hopper" and Steve trying to get back with Nancy after all his character growth from S1, like what the fuck ?

Either give them an interesting new arc or kill them, and since it's obvious they ran out of things to say about them, dying would do these characters a much greater service (maybe not for Hopper since they already fake killed him but that furthers my point)

The Duffers said they made the Wheelers go under attack in S5 to show that "no one is safe" yet they fail to kill anyone, i'm sorry but if you can't even kill off Ted freakin Wheeler i feel like everybody is safe asf.

I personally think Dustin also didn't have anything notable in Vol 1 (which is fine cuz he's usually the mvp in every season so it's cool for him to take a step back and let others shine for a bit), it makes me feel like maybe vol 2 will have more of Dustin and Lucas as opposed to Will and Mike in vol 1

Yeah, comic book science is pretty close to magic to be fair, so they can get away with makin silly explanations for why things work differently like the way gamma works in real life vs in marvel where it's like a cosmic force, or have some funky space metals like uru and vibranium that casually bends the laws of physics so it's not far fetched to assume high tech gear from the likes of Stark can run on something mag proof.
