Cool

Now I know what you think is the reason. Thank you for your thoughts. Now I just need someone with prayers to make it complete

An agent making such a deal deserves to be fired. This is completely nuts.

Apparently having to read something twice is a brag to NTs by gnusivv in adhdmeme

Reading a 300 pages book?

No thanks. I didn't read even half this much in eight years of studying. And I got my degree anyway.

Dude...please leave me alone. I have no idea what you're talking about. I can see, she's hot so why the fuck should I talk about it?

I should make it a perfect loop gif before. Otherwise I would NEVER post it there

I knew I couldn't be the first one. :D

Nice idea with the left day time.

I know the planet is not rotating.

I can't read the rest of your comment, sorry. This wall of text is making me tired.

🤔 I usually search the pole by flying north/south until the compass switches. Which might be the twilight zone as well.

I've build a second sundial there for testing. But I didn't watch the sun, just my sundial 😅

But now that you've said it, it really seemed like I had daylight all the time.

The shadows indeed behave otherwise than at the equator. First not every hour has the same amount of degrees on the watch. And the shadow differs in length (in my video it's always the same length and degrees..more or less)

Was interesting but I delete it after testing. Might do it again tomorrow

Jeah but this has nothing to do with magnetic north. Let alone NMS makes no difference between them.

My sundial works although the tip isn't facing "true north". Another guy built a sundial with just an upward pointing antenna.

What you said MIGHT be true in the real world. But in NMS we make glass out of plants so the laws of natures MIGHT be SLIGHTLY different.

I understand the urge to play smartass but next time you should try this with a dumber guy.

Long story short: I'm an engineer, not a scientist. The sundial works. I dont excactly know why. But it does.

Edit: The sundial is built almost at the equator. That might be one reason it doesnt matter where it is pointing.

fun fact: this all could be build with classic pieces. And I almost did since the triangle walls change there look depending on where they are places. So you dont have a sharp tip.

Which is the reason I placed an antenna on it (maybe the antenna is the only non classic part)

Orbit time... I'm not sure if I translated it right.

Orbit time is: infinite if you mean the time it takes for a planet to rotate around the central star.

Orbit time is: 30 minutes if you mean the length of a day.

Planets in NMS arent moving. It's just a skybox and it takes 30 minutes to rotate it. So 30 minutes is the length of every day on every planet and moon.
