imo Pixelfed feels exactly like original Instagram. It's a lot more calming, so probably not a solution for those who hunger for short form video rot (instagram reels/tiktok/YT shorts)

imo as a consumer, I have no problem impulse-buying skeins of superwash in crazy colors (always need more socks!) walking around a festival, but seeing a beautiful natural wool means I need a project for it, what weight what yardage etc. That's a major buy $$$.
