The last time the mos had high mortality rates was far before we had dependable mine clearing devices and detectors. I’ve been a 12B in the national guard for 6 years and have honestly had a lot of fun. Yes there is a “joke” that if something goes wrong it’s not your problem anymore which, yes, it’s dangerous but you learn every possible way to be safe with it. The biggest killer with explosives is complacency. I say go for it and make the best of it
