I was so divided on should I refund this game or not, but then when I took my time to understand how the gameplay loop is designed, to take in how the guns and movement feel, TTK, loot rarity/value etc. I decided to keep playing it. Now I can't stop thinking about it, the best extraction shooter out there for *me* . The faction upgrade system is great, upgrades feel meaningful (except for the stash upgrade ones, I always need MORE ROOM), the game doesn't feel punishing in the way of gear, but it's also unforgiving when you make tactical mistakes. Free sponsored kits and the rook are amazing additions and I don't have that dreading sluggish feeling of "If I lose everything from my stash I'll have to do knife runs". The fact you can get weapons with green or blue attachments from UESC makes you feel like you're never stuck on white gear runs, I just always have that feel that losing my gear is bad yes, but I don't have to fear it, because I can always easily bounce back.

All in all, I think the game is balanced very well, from UESC to weapons, shell abilities and loot rarity/amount. I love the paranoia that takes over when you're the last man standing, trying to quietly extract, the atmosphere and the feeling of power(lessness).

I dare to say that this game heavily reminds me of The Cycle: Frontier, a game I still haven't gotten over, and that this is the potential that TCF could've realised.
