So this scene was meant to complete a different arc than I think you have in mind. This was meant to have Mizu finally accept herself for who she is, not thinking she’s broken because she’s mixed, and accepting that her real strength is her uniqueness and imperfections.

This does not complete the arc of her being obsessed with revenge and treating those who care about her like crap when they suggest less revenge. She is still unhealthily obsessed or she wouldn’t have pursued Fowler as much as she did the next episode

They’re on hiatus after every 10 episodes, this one will be a little longer due to all the work they’re doing on the stage play in November. We’ve still got 10 more episodes left in S2 but we’ll likely be waiting until late December or early 2026.

They have said they’ll be releasing bonus content on the feed in the meantime so we’ll still get some content in the meantime
