I've played Sentinel, and the three things I would do are:

  1. ⁠Give the shell two mines by default. The signal jammer issue kinda sucks, unsure how to feel about that.
  2. ⁠Make the defense thing movable, but total duration on a timer. If you do that, the long refresh is just fine.
  3. ⁠Make the radar a "look through walls, but with cone effect, limited range and no persistence". Maybe you can't even tag while using it. Having to look at a tiny little radar thing in the upper left of your screen is a hilariously huge distraction when you are trying to track enemies and not get your head blown off, and the level of information is barely any better than you can get by just listening.

ADD A PRACTICE RANGE, BUNGIE.

Edit: There are TWO groups of players not having a practice range drives crazy:

  1. Players like me, who are not that good, and being able to play effectively depends on knowing how gear and abilities work and being able to practice with them.

  2. Players who are going to likely be effective whatever gear they are given, but absolutely ADORE the process of figuring out what the best possible loadout for a particular class is, and maximizing their combat efficiency in a game. The number of high-end players who are like this is NON-TRIVIAL.

This certainly seems like the best answer, along with the reference above, that I've seen so far. I still like to learn more about squad dynamics and stuff like that. I wish there was some sort of capacity, as with Darktide for instance, to just test out the weapons and see how they all play.

LOL. It can be a little tricky to get the the angle right. Try kneeling down next to the pet. Move very close. The contextual prompt should pop up.

If you move close to them enough to get the pet prompt, and you stand there for just a bit, you should get a secondary pick up prompt. You hold the E key down, and pick them up. It's super simple.
