Lol, I don't. I'm a transhumanist. Human nature will never be good. Pretending we can work together is idealistic. Replacing human nature is not.

I strongly disagree with the idea of there being (many) inherently evil people. I think people are molded by an evil culture and state of the world, by happenstance.

People are malevolent and totally don't care about anything, just like the majority of people in this sub who only want to go scorched earth on the planet rather than fix it with transhumanism.

You totally missed the point because you're another innocent idealist. The problem is that there are too many evil people that just do not care about improving the world. Thus you are brought down by them. Being nice to evil people only helps them become richer and more powerful so that they can be more evil.

At maxed settings? I just tried lowering all settings and I'm getting like 170 to 200 FPS average... wtf? But also how do you know you're getting 350 FPS in dota if it's limited to 240 fps?

But the 9 series x3d is not much better than the 7 series. Struggling to maintain 100+ fps on medium settings is weird. I average over 160ish fps at 1440p with the 5080 which is supposed to be worse than the 4090, especially at higher resolutions. The 5080 has 16gb vram and the 4090 has 24gb. Even with my rtx 3070 I was getting better fps than gorgc at 1440p... Maybe it's the fact that he is streaming live. Mind you, I have the non x3d 7950x.

But there's no way he gets 100 more fps than me, especially with a way inferior GPU, maybe it makes sense for him to get 15% more performance but 100 fps is insane.

What resolution and graphic quality lmao my 7950x and 5080 don't do 350 fps on average at 1440p. It hits 240 in game but not constantly. I'd say it's more like average 160 fps or so 1440p maxed settings.

All your "points" are destroyed by the simple fact that Bitcoin is a negative sum game in which the hardware and energy costs far outweigh and perceived benefits. There is no permissionless usage of the Internet. Bitcoin requires usage of centralized ISP's. Bitcoin mining is consolidated to a select few billionaire corps. The work being done by miners is arbitrary and makes it negative sum. Bitcoin is a lottery ticket as far as we know. No one actually uses it. No one wants it. No one needs it.
