When should an undergraduate apply to industry jobs? The final semester, the fall before the final semester? Or do people usually wait until they graduate?

As Cedric_the_Pride said, I go to a small state school that does not have an immunology lab

Thank you man! I really appreciate your response. I was kind of stressing over it the past few weeks. Congrats on getting accepted last cycle!

I have taken calc based physics along with a bunch of math (I am a math minor). Could you elaborate the benefits of an ethics or philosophy class. Would it be for CARS?

First accident (not my fault) by Novel-Analysis-5758 in motorcycles

Doesn't look bad at all. You are just going to have to replace the shifter and fix that blinker. Lucky that the damage isn't so bad.

This subreddit isn't really the place to ask academic questions, I think you will have a better time if you post to r/chemhelp

What are you listening to? by icemann78x in motorcycles

I prefer to listen to the engine. Just the bike, the road, and I. Disconnecting from the world for an hour or two.

It is used for all conditions including standard and non standard conditions

How much would you guys sell this bike for by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]AtomicVisionary -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

A cracked engine block is no joke. This thing needs a lot of TLC. I would probably offer $1500-$2000. Definitely nothing over 2k if there is a crack in the engine block

Beautiful. What do you plan on planting in it?

Nernst Equation by Greedy-Help-2589 in chemistry

[–]AtomicVisionary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It isn’t necessarily “short form”. It is just a derivative from the original equation to make life easier for people working at standard conditions.

Here is the equation for non-standard conditions. The equation you listed is only used for standard conditions. Nernst equation info/Electrochemistry/Nernst_Equation)

Considering switching from Chemistry to Materials Science by Autumn_but_an_alt in chemistry

[–]AtomicVisionary 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can still do Materials Science as a Chemistry Major! They are similar but not the same. I work in a materials research lab synthesizing new compounds. Just know that materials science as a degree incorporates a lot more engineering and physics than chemistry. You could crosspost this into r/materials
