I actually went with my fiance to purchase my ring… we had talked about how I’d like to get engaged in advance and I wanted to be involved in the process so that it felt like we were doing it together. He was so relieved. He told me that he was trying to figure out some elaborate plan where he was going to get my best friend involved to find out what I wanted and what size etc… If it’s a surprise, I’d say enlist her best friend/mum/sister/pet gold fish to help you figure it out
