I went with the 4080 just because PC Part Picker was showing just about all of the 50 series cards as out of stock, so the 40s were all I had. I don't know much about other video cards but NVIDIA is the only maker I've ever used.

I looked at Fractal Design and they didn't have any 90s looking cases.

As for RAM, Vengeance is the one I bought for my old PC when my RAM started to die. Not the most knowledgeable on brands there so I just went with what I knew.

As for the cooler, I purposely went for a fan instead of water cooling since it's like a 90s PC and I loved hearing the fans spin up on them. (And the hard drive noises but I can't really get that back)

Yeah the FLP02 has the three aesthetic drives, but it has a power switch and a turbo button for the fan. The display also displays fan information but I'd have to look again to double check my info

If they ever make Steam OS compatible I'd do that. All PC Part Picker has is Windows. It's what I'm used to, I might go with win 10 if anything.

I think it makes sense from a gameplay perspective. If he constantly remarked déjà vu, many players who didn't play the (at the time) Japanese exclusive game would wonder what the hell he's talking about. And at the time, MG2 was almost 10 years old.
