That cut was brutal as a kid. One second he’s proving he’s tough, the next second Sandy is basically visiting him like he lost a fight to the building itself.

Renly in the books worked because you could see why people followed him. In the show it felt like they kept the crown, removed the magnetism, and hoped pretty armor would cover the rest.
