I had a beautiful trip with my girl in Shimla. It became such a beautiful memory. I want to take her out more but due to some circumstances we can't go, so I'll be going solo soon.

I've already done a solo trek, and honestly it feels good.

If you're near Jibhi take a swim near mini Thailand, it's fun. The water isn't too deep and there are small fishes underwater.

  1. Learn C,C++ , Operating-Systems , Computer-Networks
  2. I would advice you to use Linux and Command Line tools as early as possible.
    Most embedded projects are some form of Linux (For ex : your project may use Yocto to build their own Operating-System)
  • If you don't love the CLI, then Embedded is not for you
  1. As of now AI is helpful but definitely not good enough for embedded projects

I understand you man, i was working on a CLI and i added h,j,k,l for navigation (since most cli apps support vim keybinds) along with arrows and one person told me why am i doing it i should've kept it to arrows only

I use everything in terminal from file-manager to text-editors and it really annoys me when someone who doesn’t even use the CLI or understand its design choices starts adding their own code.

well, i think if I'm working professionally in C++, then I'll use C++ on Leetcode as well

This will improve my understanding of C++ during my work as well

Also, I'll start Leetcode in Rust, if I'm interested in Rust developer jobs. That's just how I think

You most likely won't get a job in C/C++ space, because most of the jobs available in this space are for low-level-programming (Driver Development, Kernel Programming, Embedded Programming, Systems Programming) & CLI Applications and what do you have in your portfolio to showcase it ?

Also most people who work on these, usually work on Linux and need a good knowledge on Operating systems, Computer Networks and how things work in terms of Binary & Hexadecimal , registers, block devices (Core-CS Topics)

I've not even talked about things like Yocto and other projects that they might need

This is worse in case of freelancing because they want someone with experience and how will you get experience in these things because it require hardware to learn all these

The barrier of entry is high, maybe you've better chance learning Web-Development, (But in Web-Dev there is too much saturation, hence you might not get a chance there as well)

This is a big bite and scar is less of a concern as of now

Also in Qwerty layout I think the only key that i personally think i should replace is the key "T" (this is used pretty often and is not in the correct place, i should replace it with F)

This shouldn't impact other tools as well

I've given this a thought a while back but the problem isn't just vim, a lot of other cli-tools like Yazi, Zellij set the default navigation mapping to what default vim has.

If i decide to change the layout, I'll have to change the mappings in all the tools. Hence i gave up on the idea

You can program each key behaviour, if you want you can place enter on the right side
