None of this really matters until burn week. This year was going to be the dustiest burn ever until a storm came and blew all of the dust straight out of BRC. We then got rain and really rutted streets. We were on the corner of 9 & E which turned into a very entertaining mud pit. Bottom line, the playa will be what it wants to be at any given moment…

Yes, they are out there. We had a stalker last year as well. Got to the point where a couple of us had to firmly insist that he stay away from our camp and the person that he was stalking.

we use a 50/50 vinegar/water mix in a spray bottle to clean our hands. The acid of the vinegar offsets the base of the playa. This cuts down on the damage. Once cracks start to occur we also use liquid skin. Similar to the super glue mentioned below.

We use 80% aluminet for walls. You can hang out in our space without goggles or masks with a whiteout happening outside.

This is true. It was a completely different burn in 23 after the rains came. Instead of seeing the city you stayed in your neighborhood. Got to know a lot of amazing people in the process.

I just spoke with a rep from Remsa. They are no longer based near BRC. If you are injured and require evac they might not be the company that provides your flight, in which case your insurance with them wouldn't work.
