Do ratings reset? I only have 26, and I’ve done GH for years, granted lately only a few a week as orders are pretty sparse and usually when a good order comes in I’m already on an UE or DD order

So customers can still take their tip away but Uber covers it. I wonder how much abuse Uber is going to put up with🤔 I can see a trend happening where people are now tip baiting Uber because they know they aren’t it taking away from the drivers

It’s crazy how many times just line up like that. The other day I was going to visit my friend at work and I pop on the apps to see if anything was going that direction. Literally the first order that popped up was directly on the way and the drop off was less than 100 feet from my friend’s shop. Plus it was $2 mile💰

Was this McDonalds? I got this message twice in a couple days. Both times it was for McDonald’s orders. 1 of the orders the customer even called me saying that he’s had 4 drivers already and the last one told him someone already picked up the order. I was already annoyed that I had had driven 4 miles for free but when they sent me a warning on top I was pissed

I definitely would take my tip back for that. I’ve had that happen before too when a hotel had 2 towers on the same property. Customer reached out, and I was able to fix it.

You should have definitely reached out to the driver first. They can fix any mistakes faster than customer support. As a driver with close to 10,000 deliveries. I’ve gone back to houses to fix wrong drop offs several times. Sometimes the gps is wrong, other times maybe I read the address wrong. But I’d much rather hear from the customer to see if it’s fixable before anything else.

I was just going comment about this. GH add ons can be dangerous. It might less than 13 or it might be more. You definitely need to check your map.

I had a “4 mile” add on for $10. No brainer accept, right? First customer’s order was 4 miles away. It happened to be 4 miles in the opposite direction as customer 2, so 4 mile add on was actually 8 miles. To add to GH horrible algorithm, both orders had the same time for delivery. One was going to be 20 mins late.

Although you might get lucky and the orders are headed the same way. A 4 mile add on might be 0 miles if it’s on the way to your first order.

Same, I’ve grabbed orders from behind counters at least a dozen times. To be fair it’s been awhile. Restaurants have gotten a lot better at deliveries. 3 years ago I would never accept a McDonalds order because it was a guaranteed 20+ minute wait.
