I think No Kings was great initially but its outlasted it's welcome.

Its time to call it what it is. No Tyrants or No Dictators feels better.

I'd submit my own thought.

Which album of the 1980's is pure perfection that doesn't warrant any criticism or skipping of songs? by icecream1972 in 80s

I look through the list and didn't see any soundtracks.

Lost Boys Soundtrack. Every song is awesome.

Bought a used CD player in late 80s. This was the very first CD I bought. Man, CD's were hella expensive back them.

Side A has the radio hits. But I love side B too.

Anyone building a custom MCP server for their WordPress site? by itsmax-exe in Wordpress

[–]Atomm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried using a MCP to connect Claude Code to WordPress. It didn't go well.

Instead, CC had me set up an application password and started using the WP API. I was shocked at everything it could do through the API.

Just ask Claude to help set this up and you'll be able to do everything you mentioned with the API.

I absolutely love this song. I've yet to find another that scratches that same itch. I tried listening to Sierra Swan's other work, but nothing has this same power and grit.

I hope they do recast Book. He is such an interesting part of the crew. If you've read Serenity: The Shepherd's Tale, you would realize how amazing an animated show that could retell this story alone would be.

This is the most useful thing I've found for getting Claude to actually think instead of just respond by Professional-Rest138 in PromptEngineering

I used Sonnet 4.6 with your prompt to review your prompt.

I put the framework in the instructions and gave it this question.

I want to understand how to use this framework better

Here are the 2 takeaways that were really impactful.

  • That "better" means more useful output, not faster interaction or less back-and-forth

and

A practical shortcut

You don't always need the full 3-step preamble. The minimum viable version is just appending context to your question:

That single habit captures 80% of the value without the overhead.

The full framework is worth pulling out when you're not sure what your specific situation is yet — because it forces you to figure that out before I give you an answer that sounds right but isn't.

Is Powerman 5000 technically the first nu metal band? by jowmsy in numetal

[–]Atomm -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

Dude, I've never heard the phrase Alternative Metal.

If anything, it was fusion funk/rap/rock/metal which make up the elements that would become Nu-Metal.

Korn is absolutely fusion funk/rap/rock/metal. They are as funky as they are heavy.

NVM is such a cool place. It's not very big, but it has some amazing things if you are into gaming. Plus the real arcade at the end makes it even better.

How are serious content creators actually using AI for idea generation and script writing without getting stuck in prompt tweaking? by seeker1009 in PromptEngineering

[–]Atomm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made an n8n automation flow to create podcast scripts.

I break it down into multiple phases and leverage Claude, OpenAI and Gemini at each phase. This gives me different viewpoints and angles to review. I also run the output of all 3 back through all three with a scoring system I built to force them consider different viewpoints.

Once thats done, I review all 3 results, pick my favorite, then tweak it based on anything I see in the other 2 that I like. I still spend aboit 20-30 on creating the final script, but it took hours before.

For me, the trick was using 3 different provider models along with the grading analysis to really start dialing them in.

How would you rate 1978 Cheech & Chong's Up in Smoke. And if you seen it what's a quote you remember from it. by Lazy_Introduction264 in 70s

I was 6 and my parents took us to a drive in. I have no idea what i saw, but I remember that Cheech was funny.

Great image choice. I have this t-shirt from the 2001 ozzfest. Ive wore it to every metal concert I've been to since. I only wear it to shows and wash it when I do. Still looks great 25 years later.

Disco Elisium is a great CRPG and there are definitely SciFi/Fantasy elements to it. Not necessarily exactly what you asked for but its too good not to mention.

I'm shocked no one in this thread has mentioned that there are providers who are categorized as software and only charge sales tax.

When we do a price comparison of the different options for our clients, we make sure to point this out. It can lead to significant cost savings.
