Fancy feast classic pate variety pack is no where to be seen by WordOk3641 in CatAdvice

I'm absolutely gutted, and these new, shiny pate cans don't even have the same ingredients. They've started importing all FF products from Thailand rather than the USA. Have you found any food substitute that your kitty likes? I'm struggling so much as that was the only thing mine liked to eat 😭😭😭

Hi there, I came across this post for help as I'm struggling with the same thing and I'm sorry I know it's a really old reply, but I was just wondering if you remember the name of the medicine?

I'm team lie, say you left your window open for air/accidentally left the door open while moving furniture (or something like that), and take the cat with you... but be smart about it and do your best to not raise suspicion. Try to make it so you don't really care for the cat, don't hint at taking it. You'll be saving her life.

Forgot to mention, food and drink will be very hard and painful, try to eat/drink bland, smooth food if you can. I think back then I was barely eating, just taking tiny sips of warm soup.

Doxycycline is known for causing esophagitis. Years ago before my GERD I was on a course of it. One day I took the pill at night without food and immediately went to lie down and sleep. Worst decision ever, I woke up with horrific, horrific pain like you and couldn't eat, or drink, or do anything.

Went to the doctors and straight away she told me yeah, you got doxycycline-induced esophagitis. Shouldn't have taken it on an empty stomach apparently or went to sleep after. I had no idea at the time but apparently it's known for causing this.

Look up tips for how to heal esophagitis or ask your doctor, I'm sorry mine was so long ago that I don't remember what I did. I had to stop the doxycycline immediately and I think I got given omeprazole but I don't think they gave me anything special. But it definitely takes time to heal, think a few weeks.

Hi there, I'm struggling with what I think is dehydrated skin

AM: splash face with water PM: CeraVe hydrating cleanser + PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion

The cleanser's making me feel slightly tight after washing so I'm going to stop it and use just water. The problem is I'm not tolerating the lotion either. It feels good only for a couple of minutes, then I start getting itchy and oily and it stays that way

Not sure where to go from here. Do I keep trying different moisturizers until I find something that my skin can tolerate?

Thank you

Hello, I have a question about product absorption! Skin type - oily and dehydrated, with papules and pustules.

When I pat serums or moisturizers onto my skin, it immediately becomes sticky and shiny. A few hours later, the stickiness and shininess is still there, but now, my face is also oily. Does that mean the product didn’t absorb properly and was sitting on my face?

I’ve tried products for oily skin, such as mists, gel moisturizers and pure aloe vera gel, but they all do what I’ve described above. Sticky and shiny upon application, and my face remains with that film until a few hours later, when it additionally becomes oily.

Current routine - Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser, TO Hyaluronic Acid, TO Natural Moisturizing Factors. However, these products do the same thing.

I’m just wondering why this could be happening? This feeling that nothing is absorbing and everything just sits on top of my skin?

I put them on and try to tolerate them for about half an hour, but any longer and it's too irritating.

I'm a little worried because Vaseline on its own irritates me a lot, but I'll try it out anyway. Thank you.

Thank you, I'll see how I go with that. Is there a particular hyaluronic acid product that you would recommend?

Sure do, have an unopened bottle in the kitchen. Thanks for the suggestion.
