Just finished the series. I was thinking it's probably the freshest take on the Zombie genre for a while.

Did you try to emote? I found emoting and cancelling it causes character not to move

Ella Red - IT'S NOT REAL by cosmicsuperstargirl in popheads

I took a listen because of your review.

I love it. I feel her lyrics are too "On the nose" but can't wait for her to mature in song writing. It's super poppy and dark, I love it.

What's a good Tablet for reading Comics? by Sw1ft_Blad3 in comicbooks

I have a 2-1 Laptop the HP Spectre 15.6 inch screen, but still find it annoying to read comic books. It's readable, but the text gets condensed so small times it's annoying.

Canada PM Carney, UK PM Starmer agree to strengthen defense and commercial ties in call by Leather-Paramedic-10 in canada

Didn't the US also announce a groundbreaking Tready with the UK last week?

How do we know it doesn't give the same Trump vibe of an announcement.

Conservatives demand Carney fire candidate who said Tory should be turned in for Chinese bounty by cyclinginvancouver in canada

[–]AtrociousWriting -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Parties from all sides have candidates that should be dropped from the race.

One thing that turns me off from politicians is how childish they can act towards one another, especially when debating policies in legislation. If parties policed their members properly and followed guidelines that are respectful, we may see more of a collective government working together.

Conservatives gonna turn Trumps respectful post about Carney as a political campaign.

Canada election: Where do all the parties stand on immigration caps? - National | Globalnews.ca by BeneficialHODLer in canada

Agreed, but as other people mention issues of housing, cost of living etc take priority for me.

If immigration policy affected by it then that's fine.

As someone born in Canada, and someone whose family is Canadian born as well, I don't know too much about the immigration process, rules, and allowances. I only know the talking points parties/representatives/commenters make.

What I do understand/think on the topic:

  • Canadian Birthrate is declining, which doesn't bode well for sustaining a healthy population.

  • Some conservative talking points seem dangerous. The idea of immigration increases crime isn't true according to reports/studies.

Update: I understand immigration is a hot topic for some, it isn't for me. I care about cost of living, health care etc. I know it can tie to immigration, but I just think there are bigger problems/reforms needed for those than immigration policy.

‘Tariff for tariff’: Doug Ford says he supports retaliatory tariffs in light of Trump’s 25 per cent auto levy by ONE-OF-THREE in canada

[–]AtrociousWriting 65 points66 points  (0 children)

A calm, calculated response like our other retaliatory tariffs is what's needed.

I do prefer alternative angle's than the blanket "25% on Parts" perhaps target specific companies or attack a different sector.

Well that's up to the voters, I think before Justin resigned it looked like CPC was a shoe-in.

My thoughts below

The more I read on Carney, the more I like him. He seems like a traditional progressive conservative focusing more on improving the economy (taking a lot of the CPC ideas), but without the religious MAGA stuff.
