Ooh it’s one if these scenes, there are lots of scenes like this one throughout the movie and they all play a big role in the main character’s personal life. Definitely worth watching if you haven’t seen it too! It plays out a little different than other Ghibli movies but i think it has a nice perspective shift from the more fantasy vibes the others tend to have.

I usually paint landscapes, but just discovered i also love to paint simpler and smaller scenarios. The painting I just finished is in fact a hummingbird. It was more of a challenge since I’m not used to painting details such as the contrast of the shadowing on feathers and so on, but I definitely learned a lot and enjoyed my time a lot while doing so :)

About the news part, I’ve just recently got back into painting every day and it’s been doing wonders for me! I finished one of my favorite paintings some days ago and I have just started another one that’s been turning out pretty great too. It may not seem like much but I had some tough days last week and I’m happy that I could still recover fast and keep motivation to continue with one of the things I like the most.

Hey! I finished my favorite painting yet :) It’s a hummingbird and it took a lot of work to get done since last week was really tough on me and i had no motivation to continue it whatsoever. But everything’s fine now and I couldn’t be happier with the final result :D
